KOBE SSP36 36-Inch Stainless Steel Backsplash Panel

Arrived undamaged and exactly as described. I added mounting tape around perimeter and three long pieces of the same heavy duty indoor/outdoor three M tape in between them, set it on a board screwed to wall for support. Looks great and cleans up nicely. It is not magnetic, just in case anyone wants to know. The radius edge blends well with the 29.5" wide hood.

This is exactly the stainless steel backsplash that I was looking for. The piece is what seems to be of high quality stainless steel. The piece is heavy and does not bend easily, so I don’t have to worry about bending it. The edges have a nice bend to avoid sharp edges and give it a quality look. I did not use the provided adhesive tape and used a construction grade adhesive since this is a permanent piece. I feel this is a great looking piece and awesome value compared to others I was looking at. The sheet was packaged very good and had some box damage but the piece was in perfect condition. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this if you are looking for that great stainless steel backsplash splash.

This was exactly what I needed to cover area above the range. Fit perfectly and of high quality. Heavy duty. I applied construction adhesive on back in addition to the double stick tape that came with backsplash. Would recommend this to ensure a solid installation.

The stainless steel panel looks great and feels sturdy. It's about half the price of comparable ones online so that makes it a good value. The 32 inch height ensures that you can cover the full area between the counter and just about any range hood you want (though it does have rounded corners so you will need to consider that). The problem is with the mounting system. I didn't even try the adhesive strips, this thing is heavy and even if the adhesive were to work perfectly it would be relying on the paint adhesion on the wall. Instead I used some French cleats along the bottom to hold the bulk of the weight and then added some brackets at the top. The panel unfortunately bowed out near the middle so I had to add some screw heads near the middle which keep it nice and flat but unfortunately they're visible. If I can find some trim to mount to the cabinet, I can get rid of those extra screws.

Amazon transferred to the package to USPS when it arrived in my city. The US Postal Service took it 100 miles out of town, delayed it for 2 days and the package also arrived in a ripped box despite the excellent quality of the materials and care used to ship the backspalsh. The backsplash looks great and is an asset to my new stove. It truly is heavy and takes two people to hang it. We had a contractor hang it to be sure it was done properly. Taking the black film off is difficult and should be done before hanging.

Delivery was early than was expected. The packaging was impressive. The item is exactly what was described. It’s thick than the previous ones I bought in Amazon ( I had to return them to two different sellers because of defects and flaws). This one is immaculate. It has adhesive tapes on each side. I added more adhesive tapes for extra support on the wall. I love it!!

I ordered this piece because I couldn't find any other product with the measurements I needed. However, what a pain this product is. It does not come pre-drilled with holes, which I read in the description. It comes with two-sided foam adhesive but the edge of the product is beveled, so it's not mated to a flat surface and makes no contact with my wallet. So, I had to drill holes. Drilling stainless steel is difficult and broke several drill bits in the process. The protective film that covers the front took me half an hours to remove and left adhesive all over. I'm currently letting it sit with Goo Gone so I can return to trying to clean it up. My conclusion is that you should not buy this product if you can buy ANYTHING else.

The material feels protective, the surface quality is nice, and it’s sturdy enough to stand on its own without any issues.

We put this behind our gas stove as a backsplash. It connected from the stove to the fan hood. Because they were all stainless steel it looked like one piece when we put it up. Looked really good and the quality was nice.

This sheet of stainless steel is a dream come true! I love it so much I am always shining it! It is sturdy and of great quality. For the price, do not look elsewhere, this is the answer to a beautiful backsplash behind your range...it fits perfectly and I can't say enough about it...the tape it comes with (already adhered to the back) is not sufficient, make sure to order 2 rolls of "Gorilla" double sided tape when you place this order as you will need it to put around the 4 sides and make a big X in the middle to make sure it stays put! A real gem.

The product was great and what I was looking for. It has a nice finished edge and looking amazing. I followed other reviewer's comments and added additional tape, especially in the center. It only comes with tape on the edges and that is not enough. I am very pleased with it.

The backsplash is excellent quality and looks wonderful. Shipping package was extremely solid and completely protected the stainless steel backsplash. Although easy to install, it will take two people, especially if you are installing over an existing backsplash. The self-adhesive strips provided are useless. They will not hold the weight of the backsplash. We added "globs" of construction level adhesive to the back, at corners and center, and pressed firmly in place and that did the job..

We are astonished by it compared to our last kitchen stove stainless steel back splash. The quality, easy of installation and supportive shipping packaging were impressive. It's a KOBE :) It's not flimsy stainless, but rather thick grade stainless steel. It comes with a premium peel and stick outer edge. TIP: Add a very thin layer of supportive silicone caulking to the middle back (S-shape) for added adhesion. Also, install before you tile. Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend it.
