The latest generation inverter is designed to give maximum energy harvest from every ray of sunlight, and is compatible with all module configurations. New product features include the following -Three efficiency peaks. Good product, poor warranty service
This inverter is about 95% efficient and operates on a wide range of input voltages and current output common for about 10 to 14 solar panels of the 200 Watt class. It has a display that gives several performance parameters. It served me well for many months. But, when the output dropped about 10% on the inverter after less than two years of service, I found that the company wanted to discount my information. They did not come get any of their own measurements. The guy at Fronius told me that the display information was not accurate, that a burnt smell was not an indication of failure and that the 10% difference was due to variations in sun, sun angle, sky conditions, etc. -- conditions I told him I had ruled out as a result of watching the daily output for over a year and a half.
