Received an open package with a improperly packed string. Not normal.

It fixed the tonal difference and sounded very good but I opened my case to find it broken ...
My luthier put Infield blues on my violin and for some reason the A string just didn't match so I ordered the A string in Infield Red. It fixed the tonal difference and sounded very good but I opened my case to find it broken after just two months. Perhaps it was old stock or just defective.
