It supports 10/100/1000/10G Base-T networks and is designed specifically for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications (Gigabit over copper). This cable performs at high data-transfer rates and is backwards compatible with CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6a equipment. It consists of 4 individually shielded twisted pairs of 32 AWG conductors. Based on the ISO/IEC 11801 (Class F) standard, CAT7 features even more stringent specifications and virtually eliminates alien crosstalk and interference.
