The Big Bang Theory: Season 6

This review applies to this and every previous season of Big Bang, and since many others have lauded its praises I'll keep it short. The show is consistently funny, the script smart and often surprisingly nuanced, the direction superb and the acting - from every one of the cast - pitch-perfect. And the science is remarkably accurate.My wife and I own all the existing seasons on DVD and have watched them from Series 1, Episode 1 all the way through several times... they just never get old. In addition to the often hysterical humor, the developing dynamics between the characters - especially after Bernadette and Amy joined the show - are both funny and often very touching. In particular, the relationship between Leonard and Penny is at times actually quite moving in its sweetness and depth, and you really WANT these two to stay together (they're the loves of each others' lives, despite their differences). Similarly, there are moments of genuine tenderness between Sheldon and Amy which catch you unawares amid the humor.It's a quirky, original, smart, fun show where you learn to genuinely love and care about the characters, and the script-writing has kept it surprisingly fresh for all these years. If I could pick a single sit-com to take to a desert island, I wouldn't hesitate: Big Bang Theory is my favorite TV comedy of all time. Long may it run.

Every so often, a sitcom gets it right and becomes part of Americana, ie: I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, The Odd Couple, Happy Days, Cheers, Friends and The Big Bang Theory joins this roster. BBT: Season Six is what you expect, although it's a little light on the extras. There is a nice music Video from Bare Naked Ladies(We all Love the theme song). It's very well thought out and clever. My Only problem is, just like Season Five, they changed the color of the box from Frosted Clear to Black. What the hell? Most people who buy TV on DVD have collections and they show them off to people. This series looks nice and uniform until you get to Season Five. It then looks like another show from afar. Will Season Eleven feature Pink Boxes? I bought some 3 disc frosted boxes so it looks fine. However, after I forked over the money for the discs, why should I have to correct this nonsense? Other than that, if you are a fan of the show, you have no reason not to buy Season Six . By the way, I phrased that sentence in such a way that if you imagined Sheldon's voice in your head, it sounds like something he would say.

The Big Bang Theory delivers on an impressive sixth season as the directors continue to develop each individual character.Howard and Bernadette's relationship begins to intensify after the former returns from his NASA space mission; he starts to bond with Bernadette's father while figuring out why his own father left him behind.While the Leonard/Penny and Sheldon/Amy storylines consume most of the show, it is Raj that seems to grow the most in this season as he goes from essentially the friend in need to having his own lengthy romantic storyline. Although Raj does not get the girl in the need, he conquers his fear of talking to women when he talks to Penny (without the aid of alcohol) in the season finale.Two episodes stand out. The first is the one where Howard and Sheldon have a dispute over a parking spot at the school; I won't spoil the episode for you, but it is a must watch, and the second is the boys' trip to a sci-fi convention which doesn't go as planned.The extras are also great - the cast actually communicate with a member of NASA directly from space in one extra which is quite breathtaking.

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely adored the first five seasons and the show could make me laugh so hard, if I'd been drinking milk, it would have come out of my nose on several occasions.Now I just believe the show's getting a little forced in them trying to make us believe they're all still those oddly endearing nerds that we felt sorry for. "Normalcy" (for whatever that's worth, for really, what is normal?) is setting in for all these couples and I already have "normal" in my life.If the show goes off the air, I will miss Sheldon. He will always be one of those iconic characters that will live in my head until my head stops working (kinda along the lines of Robin Williams and "Mork"). You just had to love him.Still, even with the downhill slide after the peak of this show, it's still better than 3/4 of the shows out there. I envy someone who's been off the grid for a lot of years and gets to watch them all in one big marathon.

Maybe it's because I'm a computer guy (read: nerd) who likes World of Warcraft and other games. Maybe it's because I'm dating a gorgeous woman who is the girl of my dreams. Maybe it's because I wish I was as smart as Sheldon and had such little regard for what others think of me.I don't know what it is... but this show is probably my all-time favorite.The interaction between the characters is more complex than what appears at the surface level, and the chemistry between them all if fantastic.The writing is done very well, the jokes are clever and the dialogue is always interesting.If you watch some of the extras and see the actors not in character, you really gain an appreciation for how good they really are.Wonderful show... great props... great writing... great acting... great sets... always entertaining and funny.Also, I love how they're eating all the time... that's pretty much when you interact with your friends the most.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung, alles 1A!

迷いますね、買おうかどうかって。何がって、日本語バージョン発売らしいですから。本編は既にシーズン６までいっておるのですが、やはりコレクターズアイテムとしては必要なのかしら。まあ、日本語バージョン記念の特典があれば文句なしですがね。　　　　　さて、シーズン６ですが、今回はちょっとうるるとするシーンが。レナードにとうとうペニーがあの一言を告げるのです。全くムードも何もない状況での発言ではありますが、その後の二人のリアクションが妙に感動してしまってこちらもうるるときてしまいました。それからハワードのママの巨体のシルエットも見られます。よくハワードが鯨だとか象だとかとママを比喩しますが、言葉に偽りなかったと断言できます。二組のカップルと一組の夫婦はどうにかこうにか幸せに日々を送るのですが、となるとやはり残るはラジのお相手探し。漸くお相手が出来たかと思ったら・・・可哀想な結末が。ただ、そのお陰で彼の持病が治ります。というか治らなかった方が良かったかも。それは見てのお楽しみ。　　　それから何と言っても今シーズンはエッチな感じがかなり出ています。勿論、間接的にと言うことですが、特にエイミーとシェルドンがかなりお熱くなってます。そしてシェルドンがアシスタントとして雇った美女アレックス。彼女の存在は次シーズンまで持ち越されるのか。とすれば、レナードにとっては少し厄介かも。　　　そして特筆すべきはハワード役、サイモンヘルバーグのものまね。もともとビートルズの髪型したニコラスケイジのような風貌でしたが、彼がそのニコラスの物真似をします。正直凄い！！無茶苦茶似てます。余談ではありますが、実はこのシーズンを見る前にゴーストライダー２というニコラスの作品を見ていたので、余りのそっくりさに驚き桃の木さんしょの木（死語）と言うくらいにたまげました。それ以外にも幾つか披露しているので是非笑いと同時に驚いて下さい。それにハワードは博士号を持たない代わりに宇宙飛行士という肩書きが着いたので、学歴の事を言われても、反撃できる術を手に入れましたし、今後更に面白くなりそうです。それからスティ−ブンホーキングがまたまた声のご出演。もはや彼も準レギュラーといった感じ。全く違和感ありません。　　　さてシーズンエンドはかなりあっさりした感じでしたけど、そこには何らかの次シーズンへの布石があるのでしょうか、そしてラジには春がやってくるのか、そしてハワードとバーナデットの間に赤ちゃんなんて事もあるのかしらと期待を勝手に膨らませて、５回目の鑑賞を始めようと思います。yep,I'm A Big Fan of this awesoooooome TV show!(if you think too much Os,change Os to stars)

Tolle Serie

Es gibt eigentlich keine Serie, die ich regelmäßig gucke, mir auf Blu Ray kaufen würde oder mit anderen diskutiere, bei The Big Bang Theory ist das anders.........sogar Leute denen ich NIE zutrauen würde, sowas zu gucken, sehen die Serie regelmäßig !Interessanterweise, stelle ich fest, das diese Serie, von allen mir bekannten Schichten gesehen wird. Vom Arbeitslosen (nicht abwertend gemeint), über den Arbeiter, Rentner, von Punk bis Trip Hop'er, Techno Freaks bis Heavy Metal Anhängern, Psychiatern (und grade diese) bis zu meiner Oma.....Hier ist der Spagat gelungen, Wissenschaftlich, korrekte Daten rüberzubringen (Sheldon),in einem überaus chaotischen mit charmanter Komik vermittelten Beziehungsdramen, von kitschig bis kultig, tolle grundverschiedene Charaktere, mit ihren abstrusen Macken und Dialogen, die sogar mich, zum lachen bringen(und das ist schwierig).Highlight, für mich in dieser Folge "Das Rätsel der 43" , in der Rajesh und Howard versuchen rauszufinden, was Sheldon in den 20 Min. seines ansonsten makellos, minutiös geplanten Tag macht und nicht davor zurückschrecken, den "geheimen Raum" zu öffnen. Bis zum Schluß, fand ich diese Folge spannend und super lustig, wie sie aufgelöst wird !Die Specials auf dieser Blu Ray, sind auf jeden Fall gut, besonders der Teil, wo die Schauspieler und Produzenten, die Highlights des Paley Festivals 2013 zeigen.Erst ging es mir ein wenig auf den Zünder, das diese ganzen Beziehungskisten (Shamy = Sheldon + Amy) zur sehr in den Vordergrund gerückt werden, mit der Zeit, habe ich mich aber auch an Amy Farrah Fowler gewöhnt und solange Sheldon, schön so wie Sheldon ebend ist (Ober-Nerd), bleibt, ist alles in Ordnung.Schön schräger und Intelligenter Humor, mit teilweise derben Sprüchen = was will man mehr ?Natürlich hat auch diese Serie, ihre Höhen und Tiefen aber: welche Serie (vor allem in 6 Staffeln) hat das nicht ?Wenn The Big Bang Theory so weitergeht und weitere 3 Staffeln (bis 2017), sind ja angekündigt, dann freue ich ich mich,diese gucken zu dürfen.Für Fans von TBBT und die, die es noch werden wollen = 5 Sterne !

ja ja, doch, auch noch in der 6.tn Staffel bin ich Fan dieser Serie. Klar, es nicht mehr alles so neu und glänzend wie in den ersten Staffeln, ob es durch die sich durch die Staffeln ziehende vermehrte Paerchenbildung zu an ein Annäherung an "friends" kommt, kann ich nicht so recht beurteilen, wage es aber zu bezweifeln. Hab nur 2 separate Episoden "friends" mal auf englisch gesehen, völlig unabhängig von einander und fand die eigentlich nur langweilig... da sprang halt der Funke nicht über, aber das ist kein Urteil über die Serie ( Entwarnung an alle friends Fans ) TBBT fand ich von ersten Moment an (und das war bei mir eine Folge irgend wo mittendrin in Staffel 2) so komisch, das ich mir sofort nach meiner Entdeckung im TV die Dvds geholt habe, um wie ich das immer gerne mache, mir die Folgen im Original anzusehen ( way better, by the way...) Dieses Bedürfnis hatte ich bei "friends" nicht... sorry guys! Zurück zur Rezension dieser Staffel; Mir gefällt's!!! Howard als Ehemann finde ich komischer und sympathischer als den Solo Howard. Amy ist einfach nur cool - die Art wie sie ihre Weiblichkeit entdeckt, einerseits so völlig verkopft, andererseits mit so völlig absurden Jungmaedchentraeumen, das ist nicht nur komisch, das ist auch sehr entlarvend! Sheldon ist Sheldon und so lange es keine zweites Spezies seiner Art gibt bleibt das auch so... trotz Amy... Leonard bleibt Leonard und ist die sich am wenigsten weiterentwickelnde Figur - schade... Penny wird erwachsen, ein wenig... und Raj trudelt durch's Leben und die Libido, dies aber sehr liebenswert. Viele herrlich absurde Episoden, gepaart mit Spielfreude und Tempo machen meiner Ansicht nach die Serie immer noch zu etwas Besonderem und auf jeden Falle zu einer lustigen kurzweiligen Unterhaltung, auf nicht aller- oder auch vorletztem Niveau.... sondern im gegenteil, weiter sooo!
