Great, quality jacket for the money
This is my first "ADV/touring" jacket and on first impression I love it. I've never owned (or been able to afford) Klim, so I can't compare this to a $600+ jacket, but I can tell you that this jacket seems to be made very well. When you pull it out of the box you can tell it is constructed using quality materials and put together with care and attention to detail. There is protection at impact areas (elbows, shoulders, back), plenty of pockets, and even some venting if you want to wear it in warmer weather. There is a zip out thermal liner and a fixed waterproof/windproof membrane. I'm about 5'11" and 210 lbs., I ordered the XL initially and found it to be a little constricting in the chest when moving, I then ordered the 2XL and am very happy with the fit. I can layer under the jacket on really cold rides and not feel overly constricted.I'll update this review as time goes on, but at this point I am not worried about this jacket protecting me. I'm in Indiana and ride 9-10 months out of the year. I'm counting on this jacket to protect me from the cold wind and rain. I'll let you know if it disappoints.

Great value and excellent quality.
This is a great jacket and excellent value at the $200 mark. I really like the high visibility which stands out even more in person as compared to pictures online. Regarding size I generally wear size "large" shirts and sweaters and found this jacket to be a great fit. When the liner is taken out it gets just a little bit loose but clearly an XL would be too big. Stick to your regular jacket size when ordering, don't bother upsizing or downsizing. The jacket itself is very durable and heavily padded on the elbows, back, and shoulders. Venting is across the mid back with a hidden zipper on the exterior keeping a nice clean look on the exterior. The jacket has pockets all over the place both inside and outside. Especially helpful the interior zips are outlined in red making them easier to see and grasp. There is an adjustable band at the waist if you need to snug the jacket up a bit.I find the jacket to be warm enough in 40 F weather without the liner (riding a touring bike with a windscreen). The liner will definitely add enough warmth to make this a solid choice for a three-season jacket or even four-season for those living a ways south of Minnesota.

From what I saw..
I had to return this jacket due to size. Apparently 3 XXXL are made smaller than they used to be or maybe I'm bigger so I reordered a XXXXL.Anyway from what I saw this coat is well made. Pockets everywhere, tough material and well designed.I can't wait to wear it on for a bike ride to Panama City Beach New Years week!Update 1-3-19I love this jacket! Wasn't cold enough for the liner but without it I was plenty warm. Hit some rain but no problem.I'd recommend this jacket in heartbeat.Update 10-2020Took this jacket on a epic ride through the Bad lands, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Got pretty cold at plus 10k altitude! This jacket worked great.Caught a solid days ride in sideways rain across southern Wyoming jacket kept me dry and warm.

Very nice, Even better than expected. XXXL
I bought this jacket to replace a Klim Valdez that I have outgrown. Over quality and workmanship appears to match Klim completely. The fit is excellent. 6'1" , 275 lbs. First ride temperature was at 45* but sunny. All vents closed except the back with the neck and wrist closures tight. Warmth and comfort was excellent running up to 60 mph for 12 miles heading to the desert. I opened both upper chest (arm) vents, loosened the wrist closures and rode cross country for a couple miles but found I was too warm. I then unzipped the coat and unfastened the neck which made the next 15 miles of single and 2 track trails just about right if not just a little warm. Any warmer temperature would have required removal of the thermo liner. It would store in the rear pouch pouch easily without feeling like you are carryng anything. Upon returning to the asphalt, I removed the coat, closed all vents then zipped completely, fastened the wrist and neck to prevent drafts and road back roads 25 plus miles home. The temperature had dropped to just under 40* when I reached home but comfort level was perfect. My conclusion is this coat is more than a bargain for riding a enduro motorcycle. A little more snow on the mountain and I will update the review after a day snowmobiling. I am confident this jacket will perform just as well.

Great jacket. Totally recommended
Great jacket. Totally recommended. True fit. I am 5.6 tall and I weigh 176. I usually wear a large size jacket and I like to wear it a bit loose. I ordered size Large according to some ecommendations I read here and it was perfect. A little loose on the chest which is perfect for wearing additional armor or additional clothing. It is a jacket for cold weather, very comfortable. Excellent quality. Good design. So far waterproof. Very well designed. I bought black and I am happy that it is not very striking, although my daughter still says that I seem to be arriving from a Dakar race.

Nice winter riding Jacket - thinking of buying smaller size for summer/touring.
So I needed to replace my winter riding jacket. This thing was perfect as far as I can tell. For non winter riding I couldn't tell you, I probably would never use it as such, but I live in Western NY and other than the really cold months (below 40 degrees Fahrenheit) I don't need a jacket like this. It keeps me warm, dry (rode it in light rain) and let's me fit a heavy sweater underneath but haven't needed. I went with a 2X but probably could get away with a XL. I'm 5'9" 220 lb dude with big belly. I'm thinking of ordering another next size down for a touring/long ride jacket for the warmer months. Point is for what I paid it's very nice. Lots of good pocket space. I love the collar closure. I couldn't have asked for a better jacket. I like the bigger size so in the winter if I want to add a sweater for a longer ride I could. It won't replace my spring/summer/fall jacket, but on those cold and wet days... this thing will rock.
