Weldas MIG, Stick Welding Glove - FR COMFOflex Lining - Kevlar Stitching - Dexterous - Large 1/PR

It was time to replace my $8 TSC gloves as the fingers had become pretty crispy. My hands were cramping just trying to hold on to the filler rod. Anyways, all the reviews I had read were either from people using them for Firepit gloves or complaints about them being too big. I went to the Weldas site which listed all of their gloves as well as a sizing chart. My hands measure 9.5 inches around the knuckles so Large was recommended. I have to say I was a little nervous, being that they claim their gloves are 8% bigger than comparable gloves. However, my worries were soon dashed when they arrived and I tried them on. They fit perfect. Snug around the fingers but not around the hand. The F/R ComfoFlex lining is very soft and absorbent without being thick or bulky. The leather itself is soft and won't take much breaking in. All of the seams are straight, no crooked fingers, not a thread out of place. I'm using these gloves for Oxyacetylene Welding w/filler rod and holding onto a 3/32" rod is no problem- takes very little pressure. I'll be stocking up on a few more pair very soon. My only advice would be to check out the Weldas website, measure your dominant hand, and consult their sizing chart to be sure that you're ordering the correct size.Update: I just ordered my 2nd pair and noticed that even though it claims Free Shipping, I've been charged $7+ s/h with each order. Not pleased.

They work. I can put my hands in a burning wood stove, move burning logs and embers around and the gloves are still like new... And my hands didn't even get warm.
