Well thought out
I love this dive luggage, very well thought out in comparison to others, removable reg pouch, side fin compartments etc. The material, zippers, etc are comparable to other brands as Mares, Cressi (my last bag was a Mares) and it was a hard call considering I knew what I had and moving to a new product, read mountains of reviews and pulled the trigger. Very happy I did as for longevity I can't say because it's only been on two trips but as for thought going into a product this thing has everything I was looking for. So far at this point I would recommend this bag, very pleased. If anything happens I'll be sure to update this review

Good bag.
Good spacious bag. Can fit 2 sets of fins, bc's and octo's. Easy to rip fabric on the back so be careful around sharp objects

Excellent dive bag
Great scuba bag! Holds dive gear, fins, mask, BCDs, and wetsuits for 2. Comes with wet bag and regulator bag and plenty of spare room. Easy handling for traveling and rolling through airports.

Don't buy this bag if you are planning to fly to a dive destination!!!!
I shopped long and hard to find a large dive bag that would accomodate my dive gear and clothes for a dive trip to the Philippines. Bought bag in Feb. and made the trip in March. By the time I got to Manila one of the four (cheap plastic) zippers had broken. The bag set in the hotel for whole trip. I used a net bag to transport gear to dive boat. Upon returning home a second zipper failed and I discovered the rivets had fallen out of the frame that supports the pull up handle. NOT ONLY ARE THE ZIPPERS MADE OF CHEAP PLASTIC, BUT THE FABRIC IS ALSO OF VERY POOR QUALITY AND DEFINATELY NOT ABRASION RESISTANT. THIS BAG WAS ONLY GOOD FOR ONE TRIP!!! IT WAS A TERRIBLE INVESTMENT!It is really too bad because the concept was good (outside pockets for fins, mask/ save a dive tool box and reg. storage and great wheels) and well balanced for rolling around on some pretty rough surfaces with the bomb proof wheels. They blew it using inferior materials on the rest of the bag. I encourage you to read more reviews as it appears that others have similar complaints. I intend to return mine but suspect they won't accept it.

Misleading size.
I had some reservations on this bag. Especially regarding the reviews about the zippers. My main concern was getting a bigger luggage bag than I currently had. I specifically asked for the measurements of the actual main compartment. 3 replies were made to me, all from sellers of the product, all replied with the Akona given measurements. Even after specifically stating the measurements show to be the entire bag size and not the main compartment size. So I purchased thinking if 3 people confirmed the size, maybe Akona has the wrong measurement photo on their site.Well they didn’t and all 3 sellers have me incorrect info. Just so others know. The main compartment actual dimensions is 29” tall x 16” wide x 10” depth. A total of 4,650 cubic inches. Not the 9114 claimed. The additional height is given by the wheel and handle on bottom, and the handle that sticks out the top. The additional width is given from the fin side pockets. And the additional depth is from the 2 front pockets and the bottle holder.Although I’m hoping I’m still happy with the bag as an overall purchase for traveling with my scuba equipment. The large difference of the actual usable space is a bit of a disappointment.Update - zipper broke like everyone else’s.

Some things missing
There is no side handle for lifting so if you are short it is difficult to get it up into a small plane. The zipper pull broke on my first trip I would of thought for the money they would be heavier. There is ample room and the wheels roll nice as they are big.

Great Travel Dive Bag
I was able to fit two complete scuba sets in the bag, along with a few clothes. I had room for more stuff but was concerned about exceeding 50lbs. Gear included BCDs, fins, masks, snorkels, wetsuits, dive skins, boots, dry bags, gear bags, and regulators. Perfect for packing and rolling up to the airline counter.
