Unfortunately these simply did not work. There were two main issues with the items:1. You could not consistently control play/pause or volume from the headphones when this connector was attached, and2. Something in the connection caused errors in the play function if the phone was moved even slightly. Any jostling of the device (think, picking it up to look at a message while listening to music) would shake the connection, resulting in it unintentionally raising the volume to the max on its own, pausing the sound, or simply not playing any sound at all.There are clearly quite a few bugs to work out before I’d recommend it.

When I received these two items I plugged them in and immediately realized they were two pieces of crap. The first jack was in and out of sound. I could only achieve decent sound quality by holding the jack in the perfect place. I decided to try the next piece and quickly realized that the equipment was not only faulty, but perfectly useless. As the ringing in my ears was unbearable. This was an “Amazon Choice” item. It’s total throw away garbage. If Amazon doesn’t quickly review their policy regarding “choice” items and start policing knockoff crap made in China, I will quit my subscription. What an incredible waste of time and money...

Hey both had a horrible hissing sound. Something like a white noise sound. It starts when you play anything. Poor quality!Buy the one on Amazon that says it comes from Apple and that one works much better. I’m sure the one on the Apple website is fine too but somehow the reviews on there are low. I did buy the one that was said it was from Apple on Amazon as a replacement of this one and it did not have the hissing sound.

Good looking, sturdy, and durable, but I have an issue with their functionality. They work well when listening to music on my iPhone, but when I try to make a phone call using them I cannot be heard. I have confirmed that they are connected correctly and securely but it just seems to be a functional flaw of the device. Still need them for listening to music but it’s unfortunate that they do not function the same for a phone call.

I just upgraded my phone to the newer models that don't have a headphone jack. These adapters seemed good for the price. I didn't try both of them when I got them, but one of them worked okay. It did take some adjusting for the audio to come out nicely, which wasn't too much of an issue for me. However, after a week or so it stopped working all together. When I tried the other one, it didn't work at all. I thought maybe it was my phone, but when I bought one from Apple, it worked perfectly. Therefore, these adapters must be defective. I couldn't return them because I no longer have the packaging. Do yourself a favor and just buy them from an authorized seller.

This product did not work. No sound plays when you plug in the adaptor. Not sure if it was just a bad adaptor or if this is a pattern, but I was unable to use them for what they were intended to be used for.

Ordered two sets of two. None of the four will work with my iPhone without static. And none of them will control the volume from the headset control. Returning and finding a better brand.

Does NOT work for phone calls with JBL or any other earbuds I tried. Pretty much worthless unless all you want to use them for is listening to music. Also had line noise on all earbuds I tried. Returning.
