This is far better than the Arco I replaced. This unit is powerful, lasts a long time and stays at full power until the last 30 seconds. This is such an improvement over the Arco. The shape takes some getting used to, but it's ok, no benefit to the shape. But because of the shape it has a real strange balance to it and you need to be very careful when changing your grip. I fumbled it a few times in the beginning. ( It really makes me wonder if they had a groomer try it out before putting it into production) There is a big problem with the power cutting out, it started on mine the second day and I thought I was going to send it back. It is because of the battery contacts, they get a black soot on them from arcing and the more it arcs, the more soot it gets until it starts to lose contact. I do electronics work and I have a contact enhancer called deoxit. I put that on the battery contacts and it has run like a dream ever since, but deoxit is a fairly expensive product. If you see this black soot on the battery contacts, you can try cleaning it off with alcohol and maybe an extremely light wipe of clipper oil may help. Wahl really needs to address this issue.

We bought the clippers for our new miniature Poodle puppy. We have trimmed her 2 times and the battery is still running strong and in the green. When we opened the package we were shorted 4 of the comb guards. I called Wahl and talked to a lady and told her that we were shorted the 4 comb guards. She said that she was sorry and would send us a new set of 6 comb guards at no charge. We are very pleased with our purchase.

So much better than the corded clippers I’m used to using. The ceramic definitely doesn’t heat up as much. I do find that sometimes now after a year, it bogs down and acts like the batteries is not strong, don’t know what’s going on still works, but it’s not as good as it was when it was new.

These are great clippers! I have an energetic shorthaired cat that's a pistol to trim, but she chokes on furballs every summer, even with brushing multiple times per day. I love this clipper! It's not noisy (although it's not whisper quiet, either... I would like to know the decibel rating on this device), so my cat tolerates it well. She's a handful, but she actually had fun being clipped, because this clipper makes it so easy AND safe! I love the adjustable bladeset. Impossible to knick your pet, and the clipper blades don't overheat. 💯% worth every penny, and it's easy on my nerve damaged hands, ergonomic and not too heavy.

Have used Wahl professionally for the past 15 years. This is the poorest performing clipper they’ve produced. There’s a very good reason it comes with 2 battery units. The battery takes longer to charge then the 20 -23 minutes of use you get out of it. Halfway through the charge the torque is so weak that the fur drags through the blades vs cutting cleanly. Have used new blades, freshly charged battery, you name it. Same result. And they’re noisy! If you are using this for more then hacking out mats then don’t bother. It’s not worth the frustration or the expense.

This battery operated clipper is wonderful for an anxious cockapoo. It makes hardly any noise and she finds the vibrations soothing like someone is petting her. It’s lightweight and easy to handle and paid for itself in 3 uses! Worth every penny. And easy to clean. Comes with cleaning brush and oil to clean afterward.

We have a shepadoodle. Thick fur and a lot of it especially around his neck. This razor is the best we found so far. Worth every penny. Had cheaper brands, had to put a lot of work into giving Deuce a cut. Now, it’s not a chore. Not loud and he has no problem with getting crippled.

the clippers are nice and super easy to use... but they only worked for 9 mos and then the clipper head stopped staying on the base. There is a small black piece that locks into the base from the head that if it makes a clean break you don't even know its broken and the entire clipper is useless, no matter how many times you reattach.

Wow!!! I LOVE MY CREATIVA. I cannot say enough amazing things about it. It is nice and quiet, just as quiet as my Wahl Bravura. It doesn’t heat up and the blade itself stays cool, even with continuous lengthy usage. It comes with two batteries (Which is an absolute blessing by the way), so you can always keep one battery charged while the other is being used. Each battery lasts about an hour, so you can do at least two small dogs under 30lb with one battery! I find that even as you run out of battery life, it still retains full strength in its motor as it’s losing strength. It’s matte and has a beautiful magenta colouring (which matches my other clippers!). The Creativa is a one-of-a-kind design, with its ergonomic curve, makes it MUCH easier on the wrist and overall control of where your clippers go compared to some other clippers on the market. It is super easy to follow natural body curves while being able to see where your blade actually is cutting. I added a photo I took of a heart I carved into a dog’s coat using the Creativa (first attempt), and I didn’t have any difficulty with controlling the shape. It is amazing. I love that it came so neatly packaged and the price is the best listed online, I simply haven’t been able to find it cheaper anywhere else. There’s full product support as well, from both Wahl AND Amazon, which is such a plus. I cannot recommend it enough. It is the best set of clippers available to date.

I am not a groomer. During COVID I had to decide to make an effort at trimming my Shorkie. This clipper is very light, easy to handle and manoeuvers very easily, not large and heavy and very quiet. My clipper did not clog up with his hair and it did not heat up. In thicker hair it did not bog down and lose its strength. Needless to say I am not a groomer, I am right handed and have a weakened right arm and this clipper allowed me to manage the grooming. All in all very pleased with my purchase and with my grooming job. Kind of proud of my effort. When out with my pup for a walk many people stopped to admire his cut and asked where did I find someone to do it. My answer was I didn't and could attribute the way he looked mostly to a nice clipper. Would highly recommend it.
