Eliminate flicker for good!
Finally! I installed a brand new fixture over our dining room table. All brand new wiring. Brand new LED dimmer. On a 15A lighting-only circuit. No other dimmers or interference, yet it flickered wildly when dimmed. Upgraded bulbs. Flickered. Took each connection apart and tightened connections. Flickered. Upgraded to this LED PRO+ and connected the neutral to the switch. Fixed! Finally no more flicker.

A great dimmer with many options
The best part about this dimmer is that it can switch between leading edge (traditional style dimmers) and trailing edge/reverse phase which is great for dimmable LED and CFL bulbs. Essentially the trailing edge dimmer helps lower-quality or finicky dimmable LED bulbs work more smoothly and with no or reduced buzz. In my testing, a more expensive dimmer paired with cheap dimmable bulbs makes them work better. A high quality dimmable bulb might work fine on a cheap dimmer, but pair this dimmer with high quality bulbs and it's a winning combination for smooth, flicker-free dimming over a wide range of light output. This dimmer works with or without a neutral and defaults to trailing edge when a neutral is connected automatically. It's great this can also work as a more basic leading edge dimmer when a neutral is not available at the switch box. The small dimming up and down buttons on the side allow you to use a single press for one small dimming "step" or a long press to quickly increase or reduce the light level. There are also shortcuts to jump to the lowest and highest settings. Finally it allows you to customize the low-end dimming range if your bulbs go out before the dimmer has reached it's lowest setting but I haven't need to use it with any of my bulbs.

If you have a Neutral in the box, use it!
My fixture kept burning out bulbs with the forward-phase only Lutron dimmer from Home Depot that did NOT include a Neutral screw, which allows for reverse-phase operation that LED bulbs like. Now, no more humming when dimmed, short bulb lifespan or flickering. Voltage still reads about 114vac or about 8volts low with a multimeter on these dimmers even when using the neutral; this is normal and a function of the way the multimeter reads. Forward phase can still be manually programmed when using LED drivers or traditional bulbs. Setting lower limit ensures the bulbs pass the threshold to produce light when clicked on at the low end.

NOT A GOOD MATCH
This unit did not work with my HitLights LED light strip. I blinked off and on continuously and eventually would not turn on again, even thought the little lights along the left edge were cycling.

Lutron dimmer switch
very quick response but must be programmed for specific systems

Can handle large amount of lights
These are able to handle many 4 inch ceiling lights and not buzz. 18 in total. I went through several trials with other dimmers but they all buzzed. Save yourself the irritation and just get this one otherwise you will do what I had to do.

Best dimmer
If this dimmer doesn't work for your LED application I think you are out of luck. This dimmer is as good as it gets. The key is the neutral connection. Certain LEDs remain illuminated when off with some dimmers. The neutral connection eliminates this issue. When this dimmer is off, no current flows through the load. Dimming range can go down to 0% and it is adjustable. There are many other configurable parameters as well (fade rate, brightness at turn on, etc.). This dimmer is worth the higher cost.

Solved flickering problem
Tried several dimmers for 6 led lights in kitchen. Couldn’t stop flickering no matter which dimmer or which bulbs used. Spoke with customer service at Lutron, they recommended their maestro pro model with neutral wire connection. That solved the flickering problem, it’s been about 2 months and all good
