Until recently, I was going through a lot of wooden sticks. Maple sticks are light but would sometimes only last one night before splintering. Heavier hickory sticks are more durable but would eventually chip as well. These nylon sticks are nice and light with good flex but not too soft. I've managed to put a couple of tiny nicks in them by accidentally hitting the rims of my Alesis e-drums. That's it. Practically no visible damage.

These drum sticks r surprisingly good but I gotta say a serious drummer would NOT choose these over wood sticks. I guess it's good for a absolut beginner because they're light and they got bounce to them vsnx. Lol. Colors but u can't equivalent then with traditional sticks they will help u get ur teqhich and get the. Feel of how u should b using the drum sticks just for that muscle memory very important but then u should be moving to real sticks.... I checked there is a real nice black wid one that is of quality light weight great bounce back it's a lil on the expensive side about $17 or $18 for a single pair

Sturdy and good for cardio drumming

Tried using these on my electronic kit, mesh heads, did not like the feel of them. Very light weight, grip is good but strike is not solid, volume is affected, and my hands start hurting after awhile , don't know how these are on real drum heads, I no longer have a real kit, will give these to another drummer to try out. I would recommend these for children mostly.

I'm not a musician nor did I buy these for a musician. My 5-foot skellies were rock stars this year and these were affordable and glow-in-the-dark fits the theme.
