Works OK
I have a heavy duty metal drapery rod and grommet type heavy black out curtains over a bedroom sliding glass door. The grommet rings get caught up on the rod extender and this tape helped but did not totally eliminate the issue. It should be wider. Overall it's a great improvement though, and I can live it. If the tape wears out, I'll look for wider tape.

Great product and wonderful customer service!
I have very heavy drapery on a wooden rod. It is very difficult to move the rings on the rod due to the weight of the drapes. I researched different products on-line and it seemed I was always referred back to this product as the easiest solution to my problem. I received the Curtain Slide Tape and I was amazed how easy it was to install on the rod and now the drapes open and close very smoothly, without much effort. The customer service received during shipping was pretty awesome as well. Very quick to respond and so helpful.

worked for me
put it on two curtains and so far so good. it fixed the problem with the metal rings catching on the extension part. I will get around to the other two curtains and see how they fair. I would suggest that you make sure you rub your finger/fingernail over the tape to work out all the bubbles and ensure it is secured to the curtain rod. Also I personally didn't buy enough for the curtain rods' width. So I just put a long strip over the "hump" and that appeared to work. This is pretty expensive stuff and would requires several packages to extend from end-to-end on my curtain rods as I have extremely large windows. But doesn't appear to have caused a problem.

Not sure yet
I didn't realize when i bought it that it has to be applied to the entire length of the rod, and once in place you cannot change the length of the rod. I thought it would just be something that I could put over the juncture of the two rods. I have not yet put up the curtain rods I bought it for, but will probably put it on when I do.

It helps a lot
This has helped so much with using my drapes. I have a large picture window so it wasn’t as long as I needed. But I centered the tape and I am not having any issues with opening or closing the drapes

Not for thin rods or direct fabric contact//only 10 feet of tape!!!
This might work better on a thicker rod or with metal hooks/hangers holding the curtains, but my tab back fabric curtains snagged and got caught on the wedge, making it even harder to close the curtains. Also, I did not realize that the $10 pack was only good for one rod (or up to 10 feet). I'll look into the curtain wands and see if that might work better for our type of curtains.

Really works!
Really works gd, curtain slides so easily now! Really heavy duty adhesive, holds onto rod!

Did not work too well
The tape must be laid on the entire length of the rod for it to work. I originally thought that by setting the tape at the "seam" of where the rods meet would be enough. So, it was disappointing considering that I have huge windows and many of them. My solution was to change the rods.
