OakiwearChildren's Trail and Rain Pants for Kids & Toddlers

These are great. My son attends OUTDOOR PRESCHOOL in WA. I purchased these at the same time with another popular brand for comparison. On the days of true downpour or playing in a creek there is a huge difference between the Oakiwear and the other brand. His base layers stay dry with OAKIWEAR pants vs soaked when wearing the other brand.

Needed these pants for my girls first day of forest school, but shipping showed that they would arrive on or just after there first day. I messaged Oakiwear about possibly receiving these sooner and they exceeded expectations. They got them out same day and they were in my mail box 2 days later. They are excellent high quality waterproof pants that seem like they will keep will stand up to the test of time or until my kids out grow them! The adjustable Velcro ankles strap made for a snug fit around my kids boots. They also have a draw string waist to sinch up or loosen up which is perfect for my skinny waisted long legged kids. These pants were perfect for my son, we live in the rainy Pacific Northwest and we bought these for his outdoor preschool. They are thin and comfortable and 100% waterproof. We easily layer 1-2 pairs of pants under them, and they so far have held up to a fair amount of climbing on rocks and tree trunks and still in like new condition. We ended up using them in the snow too as they were more waterproof than his snow pants! Outstanding quality and I will continue buying Oakiwear.

I bought these rain pants for my 6 year old daughter because she had to sell Girl Scout cookies in the rain. She also likes to jump in puddles. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these pants. The pants have a nice brushed fabric feel to them. They are lightweight.The seams are taped and the bottom rear hem of the pant is stretchy (neoprene like) with the velcro in the front as pictured. It formed a nice gusset around her rain boots.I was a little worried about the length at first. My daughter is 49 inches tall and slim. When she put the pants on they were almost an inch from the floor and I thought they would be too short. When she put on her rain boots I realized the pants were a perfect fit. I'll be buying these pants every year as long as they are available.

These run a little wide but that helps if you need extra room for layering. The Velcro on the bottom is an amazing feature for helping to get a snug fit around bulky rain boots. We normally buy the one piece zip up rain outfits but those are a pain getting off and on especially for going potty. These pants are a great alternative paired with a raincoat. We love these pants and they've held up well to toddler play and keeping out the muck and rain. We'll keep buying the next size up as they get outgrown.

Keeps daughter dry. I did need to take the waist in a bit. Wish the ankle Velcro was on the outside, not the inside of the ankles since it comes apart from friction from walking sometimes.PSA- don’t allow down slides without holding on, they fly down and off the slide.

These worked better than expected. My son spent the whole day on the beach digging, splashing in the water, and he stayed dry with these pants coupled with rain boots. The cuff is adjustable and has neoprene to grip the boots. They seem very durable which is relief since my son is rough and tumble. As for size, they are slightly big for him. my son is 44in. I went with the 6/7 pant.

these pants are great! I love the velcro+elastic at the bottom to keep creek water from getting in my son's boots. they also have laundry tabs to protect your other clothes when washing. the only reason I took away a star is that after wearing them three days a week for seven months they have started to let some water in, as I have noticed his pants underneath have been slightly wet in some spots. I do love these pants, but I wish they were slightly more durable.
