Reviewing the DB Moon Summer Casual Short Sleeve Empire Waist Dress with Pockets. I am 5‘5“, 146 pounds, in my 60s and have a thicker middle versus a skinny waist. I wear size 10 pants/shorts, so purchased size medium and it fits well. The Empire waist design gives me a feminine look, even with my thick waist. The length falls at my knees, which is perfect. Nice flowy skirt has some flare to allow freedom of movement. Lightweight, soft rayon & spandex fabric, and good construction. It is nice for wearing to church or a casual afternoon out. (Direct sunlight behind skirt may show through.) Design only printed on one side. Machine wash and hang to dry.

I love this dress! It’s very soft and comfy. The fabric is so nice, it wasn’t even wrinkled when I first took it out of the package. Just the perfect little summer dress. I’m 5 feet tall, around 130 pounds and the medium fit perfectly. It comes just a couple inches below the knee on me

This dress is pretty, light weight, and easy to wear. I have it in a couple of patterns, but my favorite is the mint green with flowers. It is so pretty! I do wish the fabric was a better quality. It is very thin. I think it would be better if it were a blend, as it needs something to make it more substantial. Thin rayon jersey will not hold up well over time. Therefore, it isn't the best quality. Edit: I'm updating my review because I have worn this dress all spring and summer. It is so comfortable and pretty. Even though the material is thin and it won't last forever, I like it. I ended up getting more prints and solids. I prefer the scoop neck to the v-neck.

This season’s casual LBD. I love the fit, feel and look of this. Nothing to critique, it’s a basic black day dress that can be styled for nighttime or worn just hanging around the house.

PROS: - the fabric is so soft, flowy and comfortable! I really wish this were more flattering on me because I am in love with that fabric and it would be really nice to wear in a hot climate. I think it's also a very forgiving kind of fabric. - pockets! Nice, roomy pockets that do not add bulk to the dress! Love. - the neckline is very flattering for the bust. With such nice features, why the 3-star rating? Well... CON: - although the dress does look like the pictures (with the exception that the blue is more baby blue than in the photos and that may be the problem), it makes me look like a grandma. This is vexing because it looks great on the model. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the combination of the color and flowers (which, again, are fairly properly represented in the pictures, yet somehow make it look like a granny dress in real life), the longer length (it falls at the bottom of my knees - I am 5'6") and the empire waist (which I usually love) just didn't look nice when worn. This may be cuter on different body types from mine and in a different fabric, but I am sadly returning mine. I'm 5'6" and 145lbs at the moment, and got a S in flower light blue.

I'm really happy with this. I'm 4'6" and wear a 16-18(1 in Torrid dress sizing if anyone shops there) with DD boobs, so finding dresses that fit my torso but aren't amazonian length is an absolute chore. I got the XL in light blue floral and it falls mid-calf for me. the print is crisp and flowers landed in flattering places on my bosom, so i actually feel comfortable wearing it to the store without a bra. the elastic waist doesn't jump right up under my boobs, it stays a couple inches lower. the waist stretches a little to fit me, but there's still stretch to spare, so i think i'll still be happy with the fit if i gain a few more covid quarantine inches or lose some after i'm willing to leave the house normally again. fabric is soft and comfy, though a little thin where i'd be worried about no bra/slip in rainy weather or tears if it got caught on something and i didn't notice. my biggest concern other than fit was that some fabric blends cause crazy body odor for me even if slather myself in deo right out of the shower, so I purposefully wore this in a hot kitchen cooking and then around the back yard in texas heat and sure it needs a wash now but in a normal way. bonus surprise plus was that when i was cooking and got a drip of dark soy marinade on me, i wiped it away with my hand and there was almost no stain at all even on the light pink/white print. it came out of the package quite wrinkly especially at the bottom, though the wrinkles seem to have fallen out. all and all very pleased and i'll be buying two or three more for an easy and comfy house/store/casual hangout gatherings(when we can have those again) dress.

This dress is the SOFTEST thing I've ever felt!!!!! It is stunning!!! I had to grab it on sale but it was well worth every penny!!!!! It's stretchy and HAS POCKETS!!!! this company is ausome and everything I've ordered came air sealed and fast!!! This company KNOWS how to make affordable cute clothes for plus size girlies!! I am 5'2 and weight 170 and this dress is a Lil below my knee and so comfy!!! I can't wait to wear to church or anytime really!!! This dress is perfect for summer! It's lightweight and comfortable. It's a great length, too. I'm 5'0" tall, and it hits just below my knees. The color is true to the picture. The material is soft like a well-worn t-shirt. This is a terrific addition to my wardrobe. I love it! I've already got two different colors in my cart.

I was super excited to buy this dress and it is very teacher friendly. But after it’s first wash the fabric has already started to pill! I line dried it so it didn’t go in a dryer… And it’s right on my chest which is so obvious! Very disappointed…

Sweet dress.. Fits well!! Was so flattering on my mom and she loved it so much I ordered her a 2nd one. Unfortunately she didnt get to wear it and the seller issued a full refund. A definite recommend from me!!!!!
