My initial assessment of this robot was based on some misconceptions. I'm also revising my review after a belated conversation, due to email problems, with the manufacturer's representative.After returning it and observing the behavior of another robot purchased shortly afterwards, it appears that the Auto-resume feature will not occur if the robot thinks—aka artificial intelligence—it has completed its task. I initially experienced this with Arnold, my first robot (think: The Terminator) and then again with Atlas (as in Charles Atlas), Arnold's taller & very powerful replacement. So Arnold's battery was not at fault and he was capable of running longer if necessary.Btw, they both did an excellent job with cat hair, an essential since I have a cat and really need to vacuum daily, for both our sakes, but cannot.I was dismayed that Arnold took 76 minutes to clean my bathroom before needing to return home, but I had him vacuuming a confined area and it's standard behavior for some robots to continue cleaning such an area until their battery begins to run low.Arnold's initial charge time was fairly short although his CLEAN button colors were at odds w/the user manual description, which I understand will be corrected. He pulled up a good bit of cat hair on his initial run of 3 small rooms of tile, laminate, very low pile carpet tiles, and a low-medium pile area rug. He vacuumed just as well with a full room-size rug and his low height allowed him to vacuum areas my larger bot cannot.You will need a baby hair comb for cleaning the roller if not done daily. The dust bin is very easy to remove but while I needed to lift the vacuum to reinsert it my son did not. Very interestingly, when Arnold's dustbin was removed for emptying while he was on his charger, upon the bin's reinsertion he immediately backed up about 15 inches and then re-seated himself.The remote w/its included alkaline batteries functioned well and Arnold was able to respond to the Home button and find his charger, even when they were later moved to a less-than-ideal location. He ignored my love seat's skirt and thoroughly vacuumed under it until he encountered the excess phone line cord bundled and hidden away (and forgotten) behind it and had to be extricated. He responded well to flattened strips of Minibot Magnetic Boundary Markers X5 sold here. Note that fastening them to wooden yardsticks with double-faced tape will negate the avoidance effect.In summary, a great remote & features and should be ideal for homes with fairly open areas of tile, laminate, hardwood, and low to medium pile carpet. NOTE: even a very powerful robot may take longer, or use more battery power, in areas that require frequently changing direction.

I’ve had this for a month now. Overall, I like it a lot. It will never replace a regular vacuum because it doesn’t do the greatest over carpet. I have two dogs, and it’s been great to help keep up with the hair on my hardwood floor and tile, though. I would definitely recommend as a helpful assistant to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  what an amazing product! before this amazing robot vacuum cleaner, we sweep our house twice a day to keep the house extra clean for our baby, now no more sweeping!!! we are so happy with this product and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. everything is automatic, it charges by itself by moving to the charging station, battery life last long so it doesnt run out halfway through cleaning the house. the best thing is that it cleans places we usually have trouble cleaning such as under our bed and under the couches!!! its censored so that it wont run into walls and it cleans the corners better than us sweeping. it really is a must have item for a home or apartment. this could be an amazing gift to give to someone. it is also very easy to clean as well. I would recommend anyone to get this product, you will not regret it!!!

Compared to some other reviews out there for other products like this I feel like I got a really good deal for this.

The media could not be loaded.  **** UPDATE****After over a month of attempts to contact the company we have given up. DEENKEE produces mediocre products with zero customer support. Moving forward we will avoid all products made by this company..We purchased this Deekee 4 months ago and at first all seemed well. Its easy to clean, afordable, suction was pretty good, remote is responsive, brushes have good reach... but then a few days ago it started making such a loud sound. Its so disruptive that I won't even run it unless the entire family is heading out the door. Amazon was not helpful and told me to contact the manufacturer who has yet to respond to my claim.

We bought this vacuum in April. Loved it when we first got it. It worked well to clean up hair from both my Newfie and my golden. We really were happy with it. We even named him BEN. Then it stopped returning to its base. We would wake up to find it just stopped in the middle of the floor. The last straw was when the roller brush started making a horrible sound. It was a rattling sound whenever the brush turned. I contacted Amazon, who offered a reduced refund. We chose to contact the company to try to get this figured out since it came with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty and we had only had it for 5 months. I had initially gotten a quick response from the company saying that they were sorry we weren't happy/ and that once they knew the model of the vacuum, they would make it right. My 1st email to the company was 8/17. On 8/24 I sent them another email saying that if I did not hear from them again I would be returning the vacuum to Amazon. That was on 8/24. It is now 9/3 and I have still heard no work from the company. I have returned the vacuum and ordered a different brand.

This is a gift for my parents. I get up at noon on time every day to work and sweep the floor, work for about one hour, and then go back to charge automatically. My parents praise the robot more than they do.

This vacuum is completely falling apart on me. Just spits back out everything it tries to pick up
