Ayur Medic Calming Cream (2 oz)

Kind of white going on and sticky after feel!

A friend recommended this product when my skin was dry and irritated. It seems to be helping my skin, and I definitely have not had any irritation in response to it. The product has a slightly unusual, botanical smell but it's fairly pleasant and not overly strong. However, I did not read the ingredients list until after I had been using it for a while. The second ingredient is emu oil. I'm not crazy about using a beauty product that's made directly from an animal. I will probably try something else next time.

I've been using the ayur medic calming cream for years & I love it. This was not the ayur medic calming cream. It was white & not the normal pale greenish colour. It did not smell like the cream. It was definitely not the normal thick consistency.

First off, this is a good product. It is really meant for sensitive skin and I used this product for a few months and never got a severe reaction from it. I itched a bit but it went away after a week or so. I also like its natural spf properties.The negatives:It smelled funny after a few weeks.Made my skin more flushed during winter timeIncredibly expensiveIt's an OK product. Might work better for some, but I've long stopped using it since I found a better replacement with more effective results.

The first time I got this was when it first came out. Bought it from the store owner along with other products from the same company. While the other products didn't really work out, this one did. I have sensitive skin and get a seriously bad rash all overy my face when I'm in very hot and sunny weather or in harsh cold air. Whenever I get this rash this is where this cream comes to my rescue. When I start breaking out, all I feel is a lot of inflammation around my face and using this cream actually helps the inflammation go away and rehydrates my skin once the breakout is gone. It's not really something I personally use for a daily usage and only use during that once in a while breakout. All I can really say is that it works great.

First, it's "calming creme for polysensitive skin," I'm pretty sure there are no clams involved.I have super sensitive skin. SUPER! Sensitive! If I make mean faces at myself in the mirror, it breaks out. It used to be quite oily.Then I moved to a dry climate, and all hell broke loose. Figuratively. Now my skin is dry, dry, dry, and possibly even more sensitive. Something in the air, maybe? Who knows! But this stuff is so soothing and moisturizing and, I suppose, calming! My skin looks better, it feels better, and I think getting some good, non-irritating moisture on my skin has led to me looking a bit younger. Not that it's some magic formula that turns back the clock, but since I started using this stuff, I almost never get those clusters of tiny wrinkles that are visible when you, like, have a facial expression.

I have purchased this product from my esthetician for a long time. I have since moved away from her so needed to replenish. This is a good price. I love this line. I do minimal steps with my skin care, I use their cleaner and this only and this goes on smooth and is not greasy. I wear morning and night. My skin never breaks out and looks healthy.
