I haven't found a soap that foams so easily and produces a smooth lather that seems to have moisturizer in it when I wash off the soap. Super glad I got this.

Truefitt & Hill Luxury shave soap lathers very easily, and produces enough thick lather for several passes. The lather provides an excellent glide without skips or drag. The lather will start to breakdown faster than a cream, but this is not uncommon for hard soaps. The glycerin based soap cake contains no alcohol or waxes, and will not dry out the skin. The very light lavender scent from the added lavender essential oil is mild and fast fading, with no extra fragrances added, making this suitable to be called an unscented product and a viable option for sensitive skin. The lather rinses clean, and leaves no residue. This shave soap is only for use with a quality shave brush.

This soap has a mild lavender scent which lasts about an hour; leaves no residue, washing off easily; and produces a good lather but not thick. It does not dry out on your face and does not leave my face dry like many soaps do. I have been trying over a dozen soaps and found that many use fragrance oils which are too strong and perfumery compared to the essential oils. The soaps with tallow form the thickest, slickest lathers but strong fragrance is a problem with many unless you get it unscented or essential oils only. Sticky residue left after washing appears to lie in the formulation of the many ingredients.A puck lasts a year shaving daily so the price is worth it. This is still my favorite soap.SL

I switched from Truefitt & Hill's cream to the soap, and I'll never go back! As much as I liked the shaving cream, Truefitt & Hill's soap provides a great lather that lasts throughout my entire shave. I use it every work day and the lather provides for an extremely comfortable shave. Even when I let my (coarse) hair get long, this soap keeps everything moist and smooth. Also, it lasts for-freakin'-ever. I've been using the initial bowl for months now, and I'm due for a refill soon.The initial cost is well worth it for the length of use you'll get, as well as the great shave the soap will give you.

I have tried several different shaving soap, but this one, by far, is the best one. Even the bowl is classy looking. The brush soaps up very quickly, the scent is very mild and the shaved finish is amazing. I will not switch to anything else after this !

Profumazione buonissima, mi aspettavo una schiuma più ricca!Rimane comunque un film protettivo sulla cute veramente efficace anche per il contropelo!

Sebbene sia un prodotto piuttosto caro, la prima rasatura cancella ogni dubbio sull'investimento fatto.Il profumo è meraviglioso e molto bilanciato, tanto da pensare all'acquisto dell'acqua di colonia omonima.Il sapone monta in modo perfetto e la scatola in cui è inserito e molto bella perfettamente rifinita.In sintesi, ho già messo nella lista dei desideri la ricarica; molto più abbordabile.

ottimo sapone monta benissimo pochi giri e si ottiene da subito una schiuma abbondante, il profumo di lavanda è molto delicato e non da fastidio svanisce subito dopo il risciacquo quindi non interferisce con il dopobarba. per quanto riguarda la spedizione come al solito Amazon velocissima e puntuale
