Stego Case - Brown (fits the Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle)

I have an older Kindle reader, still in excellent shape, that I use constantly. As a senior who has been a life long avid reader, the adjustment from beloved book to reader was difficult at first, but I didn't want to hurt my daughter's feelings (she gave me the Kindle for Christmas). I am now hooked and love the convenience of taking my library along for waits in the doctor's office, breaks at work, etc. Since my Kindle travels with me, I thought it was about time to get it some protection but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg so I ordered this inexpensive sleeve based on reviews. I am so very pleased with my purchase. The color makes this case look like beige suede. It's not brown as the color says nor is it the mustardy yellow it appears on screen. It is sturdy, folds back for reading, closes easily, and the magnetic snap operates itself and is great for arthritic hands that have trouble with snaps. Stylish and serviceable for a good price. Love it!

I can't complain about this case. It has a sophisticated appearance without being pretentious. My Kindle is held in it very securely, no fear of it slipping out at all. In fact, it was actually difficult getting it into the case because of the snugness, but that is good. The magnetic clasp works well and the front cover folds back without any stiffness at all. The cover extends past the reader, so there is 360 degree protection of the edge of it if you do drop it. And, the reader can be conveniently charged with the case closed. By the way, one of the first things I checked for was an odor. I noticed no chemical smell. If you are looking for a good reasonably priced case I highly recommend it. One concern some may have, even though it is not included as a part of the description of the product, it does not offer an automatic sleep and wake function.

This is a very attractive, well-padded, secure cover for the paperwhite.Don't know or care about the material its made of, only that when I dropped my Kindle - it remained in perfect, working condition. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the 2 previous models which were uselessly encased in other cases that did nothing to prevent internal damage when dropped from less than 18".Perhaps it isn't as colorful or clever like the ones that turn on/off when you open the cover, but atleast it won't drain your battery from not closing properly.And it won't drain your wallet from costing a fortune just to protect your investment.

Normally we buy the case that you just open and close to turn a Kindle Paperwhite on or off, but my husband was carrying this in his kangaroo pouch on his crutches so it tended to open and close a lot. This one works a lot better. The Kindle is stable with the elastic bands, but it can shift a little so sometimes the on/off button ends up a little too close to the elastic. It's a nice case, and the magnet on the tab securely closes the case or securely gets the tab out of the way since it also holds the case open.

It's a cover, it has a magnetic latch, and elastic corners to hold my precious e-reader in place. It keeps my Kindle safe while looking more stylish than black fake leather. It does everything I expected and nothing more, and I couldn't be happier.

It is exactly what I wanted. I am very pleased. I was amazed how quickly I received this purchase. I use online shopping mostly because the smaller city that I live in cannot provide enough variety in the products I need. However, with the quick turn-around of purchase to receipt that occurred with this Kindle case, it is becoming more efficient to shop Amazon. Good product. Good job.

Had difficulty determining what cover would fit a Kindle Paperwhite 6th Generation but took a chance since this was such a great price. fits perfectly, and the tan color is better than in the picture. Only quibbles are that the closure tab gets in the way when you hold cover open to read (so close between the folded back covers), and it feels a bit more flimsy than the $65 cover. For 1/10th the price, this'll do fine!

It works to protect the kindle paperwhite. Don't know about the magnetic operation to turn the device on when you flip it open, as that is not working for me. I just wanted protection, and that it does well.
