I love these things
I bought these to do bead crafts. Now I use them all over the house ! I keep two in every room. Better than pliers !I use them for making and repairing candles, I use then for jewelry repair, I use them in the garage in place of needle nose pliers, I use them to hold my cigar when I smoke it all the way down..I EVEN USE THEM TO OPEN THE GERBER BABY FOOD PACKS !After nearly two years of heavy use around the house, NONE have broken, or even bent.I'm very happy I bought these.

A Real Value
I purchased these from DDP INSTRUMENTS. I received ten forceps, as advertised. The quality of the forceps was excellent. I received five straight and five curved forceps. One of the forceps I received did not lock correctly. I sent an e-mail to the vendor describing the issue and had a response back in less than an hour that they would immediately send a replacement. I received notification that the replacement had been shipped with the appropriate tracking number within less than 24 hours. I call that service - no complaints at all!I use these forceps in my shop. They're great for holding small parts or positioning metal or plastic sheeting. I couldn't be happier - especially for the price.

A great buy
I don't think these are medical quality but they are priced to sell and are good for my needs. I use them as extended tweezers, grabbers, holders for a so many tasks. Just one example ... putting the tealights in my Himalayan salt holders ... just right for putting the candle in and taking it out. I always try to keep one of these hemostats handy, they are just so 'multi-purpose'. This order came with 5 straight and 5 curved clamps, all work well. I am very satisfied.

Waste of money. Rusted first time they got wet.
Very crappy. Cleaned these and air dried. Came back the next day and the pins all rusted!!! Not a high polish finish and poorly put together. I thought it was just me but when my coworkers saw these we put them away and will never use them. WASTE OF MONEY!!!! DO NOT BUY.

Very Poor Quality
For ten hemostats for less than ten dollars I was not expecting surgical-grade hemostats, but the poor quality of these surprised me. The build quality is about as low as one could go and still call them a hemostat. The handles on the majority of them are crooked/bent, which makes locking difficult; the tips on several are misaligned to a degree that grasping something (e.g. needle, fish hook, etc.) would be difficult. As for "finish" there is none, they are rough! Each hemostat has its problems and there are no two that are alike; of the ten I'd say four are "good enough" to keep/use.

Extremely useful tools for making/repairing jewelry
These were purchased to use as precision pliers for making jewelry. Much less expensive than "official" jewelry tools from the crafts store! The tips are fine/narrow enough to fit into the tiniest places. They also have a good grip on the jump rings and earring wires. Admittedly, not all of them closed perfectly well, but they are so inexpensive that I tossed the two that didn't close quite right in the car, I am sure they'll be useful one day for something. For what I'm using them for, this is a great deal, and a GREAT PRICE.

It would have been a great deal if the length was as advertised
nothing wrong w/ the product, it is just that was advertised as 5.5 inches, but when received was only 5 inches. I use these for making rugs and the size is very important because w/ the shorter length the hemostats are also skinnier and thus weaker. It would have been a great deal if the length was as advertised . I had to return and ordered a different set that is several sizes.

poor quality
Poor quality in manufacturing of items. miss-shaped, rusting already, sharp edges where they should not be. Recommend looking else ware as they are not very good items.
