I bought this for a person suffering from Dementia, who enjoyed listening to music cds. The item was perfect , the headphones great. It kept this Person able to listen to music without distractions. I only listened briefly, and the sound was perfectly ok. It was suitable for the Purpose bought, not sure how a discerning person might review this.

I read the reviews for this before buying, some were not very good and some were ok. I decided to give it a go and was really pleased. Sound quality is very good with a good base. This is lightweight and easy to use. Good headphones that came with it. Price was ok for the quality. All in all not a bad deal.

I brought this portable CD player as a Christmas present for my sister in law who says she is absolutely delighted with it. She says it has a great base to it and looks very smart. It is very easy to use and enjoys listening to her favourite cd’s most evenings while crocheting. I would most definitely recommend this great portable CD player to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again. Great value for money.

This CD player is sold on the claim that it is hi-fi (an abbreviation for high fidelity) ie very high quality sound. This is nonsense; the sound quality is an average CD player. I know this because I have a Sony CD Walkman which is hi-fi. However it is deteriorating due to its age so I am looking for a replacement. Other problems: the LCD display is small; the track number is a reasonable size but other information is too small. Also, there are 2 buttons marked MODE and PROGRAM, but no information about them in the manual. The above is bad enough but things got worse. The only button that worked was the play button. None of the other buttons worked. The only way to stop the CD playing was to manually open the lid. Clearly I got a faulty model. Overall a poor product which I returned to Amazon.

It didn’t do what I expected it to do, I’d bought it for my car on long journeys because I can’t use my sat nav and have music I normally listen to, so I wanted a CD player separate to the in car system which is hopeless if you want the truth, new technology isn’t all it’s cracked up to be , so I thought old school might solve it it didn’t but thi CD players itself is fine just not what I thought it would be, probably my fault for being a little of a tech Luddite

Very neat unit at a good price and works well. Nice sound. Bought to use in new car that doesn’t have a CD player, powered from USB connector into car AUX input.

Was heartbroken when my old one gave up. Didn't think I would be able to replace it let alone with one so good. Did't want to spend a fortune. Brilliant value for money. Love the added control switch that you can clip onto your clothing whilst out and about. Very good sound. Arrived very quickly. I am a happy woman.
