I have several peppercorn grinders in my kitchen. I use a lot of black pepper. I buy in bulk and when I get the peppercorns, I dry them a little more and then store in canning jars. They store well even for several years. That extra drying prevents mold and such. So far, no problems even with peppercorns that are stored for a few years.These taste really good. They also grind well in all my grinders, even little battery powered ones. I can't think of anything bad to say. They just real good peppercorns with a awesome flavor.

This came quickly, was great to fill grinder as needed. Pepper was good.

I think i got it for like $12. This pepper will last me forever.

Wonderful size with fresh aroma. Pepper to me is what salt is to everyone else. peppercorns are in most everything, definitely all soups. I just toss into the pan a metal loose tea ball holder, half filled (peppercorns need space to swell and release flavor) and cook.

Not a lot to say but would definitely recommend. Getting whole pepper corns at the grocery store would probably cost 10 times what you pay for the 5lbs bag. This pepper seems very mild to me but that isn't necessarily good or bad just my observation. Also unless you use a huge amount of pepper make sure you have glass containers to store it in. Plastic is not an oxygen barrier, glass will preserve the flavor for much longer.

I make and sell small batch handcrafted spice blends and decided to try spices from Rani. So glad I did the potency and quality is so much better than those from the local market. Reminds me of the spice markets in Morocco and Ethiopia.

I enjoy and like black pepper in my everyday cooking. That is why I purchased this 5 lb pack as I have been used up my black pepper very quickly. The price is very good, and probably the best, for this bulk package. The black pepper is very fresh and you can tell from the aroma after you open the package. I have separately vacuum packed the 5 lb package into 5 different packages in order keep the pepper fresh for as long as possible. I believe that I have made a good decision to purchase this product and am happy that the pepper seems to be quite fresh and in good grade. I will be good with black pepper for some time. Hopefully, Amazon still carries this product in the future as I will be more than happy to buy it again.

Allegedly, and I've no reason to doubt, these are genuine Indian peppercorns. As such they're tremendous value for money. Can't fault them.
