Perennial Farm Marketplace Pennisetum alop. 'Hameln' (Dwarf Fountain) Ornamental Grass, Size-#1 Container, Coppery Tan Tassels

Received four of these grasses today. Photo is exactly how they looked out of the box. Packaged tightly and soil was lightly wet when received. Will plant this week, but they are green and healthy upon receipt and look like I'd expect if I had bought directly from a nursery.

Sorry, “warmth” does not really apply, but very nice, healthy.

I think there’s something wrong with this plant. This is how it looked when I unboxed it. And it’s been in the ground for about three weeks. And it looks the same. It hasn’t sprouted any new green leaves. Seller says they cannot replace it but I can’t figure out why.

I purchased 3 perennial fountain grass and one is not doing well. It didn't look good when I opened the package. They will not replace it. I should have purchased at Home Depot they would have gladly exchanged it.
