Ner Mitzvah9 Day Yahrtzeit Candle - Kosher Memorial and Yom Kippur Candle in Plastic Holder

I lit this candle and it lasted 9 days a few hours less but it is exactly what I expected, it is a very good product

I have been buying Ner Mitzvah 9 day candles for many years. The reason is that after my beloved daughter Clare passed away of cancer in 1989, After her memorial service, I wanted to have a perpetual yertzeit candle burning in her honor. So I started out buying 24 hour candles, but that choice proved to be very inconvenient and expensive. Then at the grocery store I found 7 day Novena Catholic candles that worked well (as long as the candle didn't have religious decorations on it), but that option too was expensive. Then I discovered Ner Mitzvah 9 Day candles online. They were perfect. I could buy them by the case of 20 and they are delivered to my door. So handy. So I've been using them ever since. The length of time the candles last is convenient and the price is reasonable. I put the candle in an additional glass tube-like container for safety without my worrying about them going out or causing a fire. Thank you so much for helping to keep my daughter's memory burning brightly.

In general, I don't have any objection because the candles are of quality and are in good condition.Some times the cardboard boxes they were packed for shipping, it broke ( the weight of candles,or so..), the box was full of oil and the plastic containers were 1/2 empty, scattered in the mail box. Other times, the plastic containers had cuts through which the oil flowed everywhere when the wick was lit, and the heat reached the cut.Sure, I accept that it can happen, but I prefer not to..!

I had 7-day candles and off the 20, most of them lasted 6 to 6-1/2 days. These 9-day candles, so far 2 out of 2 have lasted 10 days.Very happy with the product!!

The candle burns continuously and the container does not get hot like glass containers do.

I lit this candle on Friday and it was still going by the following Sunday! I’m so glad I found these candles.

Great candles. I haven’t used them up so I can’t comment on if they actually last 9 days. There is no scent to it which I’m fine with since I use it as a prayer candle. I also saw a few negative reviews due to the small flame but I must tell everyone who’s wary of purchasing these for that reason, the flame is small to ensure it lasts the 9 days!! Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase.
