How durable is the wire?

I was hoping to post a picture here to aid my answer, but I just put these buds side-by-side with the standard earbuds that apple ships with the iPhone, and the width of the wires, both at the connector end and at the earbud ends, are almost identical. So I would expect similar durability to the standard apple earbuds. I own two pair, and have been using one as my favored option for video conference calls for the last eight months, with no problems.
