If you’re like me, you always have an electronic device either in your hand, pocket or nearby, right? And more than likely, you have more than one, especially when you’re working! So how can you keep all those devices charged, sometimes when you need them rather quickly?Let me tell you what I love about this charger. It has 6, count them 6, charging ports! I can charge my devices all in one place, without taking up a whole power strip or all of the outlets in the room. Plus, because it’s powerful at over 2 Amps per port, my devices are charged in no time.I keep it set on my desk and plug in my cell phone, tablet, and more as I need them charged. And all the cords are kept neatly in place, since they are plugged into a single charger instead of all over the room.And if I need to leave before I’m done? I just toss it in my bag with the cords and finish charging when I get to my destination.It sits nicely on my desk and doesn’t fall over easily. And it’s small and black so it doesn’t stick out when I have clients at my desk. I have a house in the city and a house in the village so I got two of these. There is just no sense having one and carrying it around, this way you have a charger no matter which place you are, and you don't have to remember to pack the charger everytime. In fact I try to do this for all my things when posible.Straight out of the box both of them worked and charged three separate devices, an iPhone, an iPad and an internet cloud wifi thingy. So far so good, performance wise they have to spend some time in order for details to become visible. Initial impression is they are well constructed for their cost and look like the will do their job well.P.S.I have charged an iPad to 100% with this charger and it charged at nearly the same rate as when I was using the Griffin Power Block (previous charger) and this is a good thing. When I was looking for a charger that charged an iPad faster than the standard iPad charger that came with the iPad the Griffin Power Block was recommended and yes it was faster than the standard Apple iPad charger.So if this charger charges the iPad at a faster rate then I am assuming it charges other devices at a faster rate too. And because it does all this while taking up just one socket then this makes it an awesome charger. Couple with it the ability to handle voltages from 110v - 240v AC and you have yourself a world traveling charger (just remember to buy an adapter to fit into European, UK and other plugs)

There are quite a few of this type of device in the marketplace..I selected this one based on reviews. This desktop charger is exactly as described..small, unobtrusive, yet effective. As described by other reviewers you are not just limited to the ports described for each type of device. My son got to this first & just started plugging tablets/phones in to charge. All items (2 x iPads, 2 x iPhones + a Kindle) charged successfully (phones finished first). I chose this black shiny model to match my kitchen appliances..so it's quite unobtrusive. Whilst not heavy..there is some weight to the base to prevent it from toppling. The package also contains a peel-off sticky pad for a more secure fit to the counter top but I didn't use it..wasn't necessary. The ambient blue 'active light' is bright..but doesn't really bother us (no one sleeps in the kitchen!). I'm not sure if I would purchase another one for the bedroom because of this light..however my son said he would. Definitely a good buy & a good price..got rid of a lot of messed up wires & plugs. There are no 'real' instructions in the package..however it's pretty self explanatory..more of just a warning about voltage ie Europe versus USA.

**UPDATE 8/31/17** Original feedback provided in January 2017 and I was very happy with my purchase. However, now, almost 9 months later and 1 od the devices is no longer working. I was looking to see who to write to about this.....thinking it should last longer than that. I have purchased a replacement in hopes that this was a fluke. Removing 1 star in rating for now.I ended up buying 4 of these, one for each of us. Eliminates a lot of the bulk in charging multiple pieces. Keeps everything tidy. And best of all it charges quickly, even with multiple charges going on at the same time. Other charging ports have different ports for different charging needs, this one allows you to just pick a port, any port and the charge is the same, quick. We've had since Christmas 2016.
