Seems like everytime I purchase Hanes socks I get a totally different quality& material. I just want some decent socks. I have purchased decent socks from Hanes. These are NOT one of them. Now if your looking for paper thin, falling apart very first wear and wash. These are the socks for you.

They fit well and they don't make my feet sweat too much. My only problem with them is that they shed a lot, even after washing them before using them for the first time. So if you like walking in your socks much, or you care about "fuzzing" up your inner sneakers, these are not for you. They pill a lot even before they’re washed. We’ve only had them a month.3. They look old once worn.I’ve always hated pilling..little knobs of fabric..but the amount in such a short period of time is unbelievable. Actually, this has never happened in a purchase before. I won’t purchase them again.

I bought the XL size because these days socks always seem to run small and you have to stretch them out to the max just to get them on your feet. So I figured if I bought the shoe size 12 to 14 they would be big enough. Nope. I dont see any difference from the 6 to 10 size. The material is nice and soft but the socks are toooooo small. My shoe size is 10.5

For years I have purchased Hanes socks. In the past they were always of the highest quality.The Hanes Mens Active Cool Crew Socks I recently receiver SUCK! Worst quality I have ever seen in socks.After 2 wearings and washings, the soles were pilled up beyond belief. After the same time my toe came through one pair! This is crazy - the older Hanes socks I still have and use daily are still in excellent condition, while these new socks are a few washes away from the garbage!Wake up Hanes - there are many other brands who still take pride in their products, something it seems Hanes gave up some time ago!!

Comfortable and fit my size 12.5 feet and thinnish calves just fine. They shed a considerable amount of fuzz on the inside so I'll have to wash them inside out for a while to diminish the shedding. I took off one star for the shedding.I wish I could also rate Amazon in this review aside from the product. I'd give only one star because I liked these socks enough to come back and buy them again, but the price had gone up 32% in only a few days since I purchased. I don't play those games...sorry Amazon, you lost a sale.

Bought these for my husband as he only wears black Hanes crew socks. I will never buy the comfortblend max cushion Hanes again. Normally I buy him a pack of similar socks (always Hanes crew black) once or twice a year, once he's starting to run low or I throw some away here and there because of holes or regular wear and tear. We have only had this particular kind for 2 months and I've already throw 3 pairs away for holes and the rest already have fabric balls all over them, and I'm assuming will be thrown away in the next couple of washes. So, he still has other socks from a year ago that are holding up better than these! Very disappointed and won't be buying this specific brand of Hanes again.

How can you complain about socks? Well, these are just terrible. I have had other Hanes socks and they were fine. I've washed these socks 4 times, inside and out. Even after all that, after wearing them, they leave a whole bunch of black paint and residue on your feet! It's disgusting and I requested a refund.

Listen, I work in combat boots all day and have to do alot of walking. Out of all the 24 socks that ive got, none of them has holes in them or anything. And I have to say that ive been using these for about 2 months now.I wear 11 in shoe size for reference and they are pretty comfy. They are kind of tight at first but they realy do take the shape of your feet quicky. (No presure felt) Just note that if you have very big feets, they might be a little too tight for you in the long run.Without saying much more, why wouldn’t you buy 24 socks for 24$?? They are honestly worth a try.Would buy again!

The first time I washed a pair of these socks I noticed they seemed to pill badly in the cushioned area. This lowered my opinion of them but I figured I could still use them. The second load of wash was when I discovered that the black lint from whatever was pilling, had attached itself to a pair of light brown socks and that there was no easy way to remove it. I finally got down to using tweezers, but this still left a residue of fine black lint meshed with the fabric of the brown socks, making them look like they needed to be put in the wash instead of just having come out. The only way to wash them in a mixed load would be to put them in a pillow case or something similar.

Not even close to big and tall sized . Gave them to my son and they were tight on him. Wont be ordering anything from hanes again. Shipping was fast but still not helping the fitting issue.

I thought when I first bought these socks that I got lucky. Shortly after wearing them a couple of times and washing them, I noticed the bottom of my feet were full of black lint from the degrading material. These socks just leave the bottom of your feet disgusting looking, literally full of lint. Throwing them in the garbage. Beware!
