Clearly not legitimate. Smells like cheap plastic and chemicals. Got really hot in the 3 mins it was plugged into my macbook air, but did not allow me to access my SD card (nothing pops up in devices). Do not buy.

Poor technical function do not recommend
Packaging and physical appearance look good first use C adapter would not fit in both directions as it should then I inserted SD chip it would not read I attempted to remove it and it ate my chip I had to use a Dremel tool to cut the case to recover my chip with a thousand pics this is a sample of one but I definitely would not recommend

Terrible quality, blew taking my sd card with it
I should have known after the first one was DOA. The replacement I got worked once or twice but then I put a micro SD card in there and heard a pop and smelled that burning electronics smell. SD card and reader both dead now.

Works great
Been using this a couple months now. It works great and I’ve had no issues. I only use the SD card slot and I’ve only used it on a MacBook Pro that needs USB C ports. But if that’s what you are wanting I can say this will definitely be a good choice.

USB Port Inoperative
I’m a day too late to return it, darn. The USB input doesn’t work at all. The two SD card slots do work. IT IS NOT AS ADVERTISED as the USB PORT DOES NOT WORK.

Fried connector
I connected an SD card to the slot while at the same time connecting a 2TB Passport External hard drive to the usb slot and the connector got fried. So I don’t recommend connection huge item to the slot, a regular flash drive I believe would not have been a problem.
