I have 7 adorable grandchildren under the age of 6. I got this for two of them that live in MN, but gave it to them in the presence of their IA cousins. Upon opening it all 4 fell under the spell of the perky penguins chirping and making their way up the ladder and down the slide. The smiles appeared and the only sounds were their sweet giggles, laughing at the penguins antics. (FUN) As it's mostly a watching toy, there was no fighting. At least until they decided to see what happened when they put the penguins on backwards (educational, durable). Not much as it turns out, the mostly stick at the bottom looking like they are kissing (educational?) When my 33 year-old-daughter saw it, she begin to talk of how she had begged for one for years as a child so when I saw it for $10 on Amazon I got her one for Christmas. Don't think she appreciated it, but her kids did. I think it's a darling toy that kids really enjoy watching. Kept them entertained MUCH longer and more effectively that I had thought it would.

When visiting friends, we noticed that this was the only toy that all the kids wanted to play with, and the only one that got fought over, so we bought it for ourselves. We were very pleased with the price but when it arrived, we were disappointed not to be able to play with it right away (you need one D battery). When we got the battery for it, we were really surprised (and displeased) by an incessant squeaking every time we turned it on. Fortunately, the squeaking is VERY easy to fix - just pry open the bottom of the toy and pull out the small plastic squeaker (looks like a bellows), then pop the bottom of the toy back together. Done. Hours of fun await! I think this toy is on at least half of every day at our house :)

We bought this toy for our son for his second birthday. He's now four years old and I was going through his playroom getting things out he no longer plays with and make room for new toys. I then came across this toy and realized it deserved an awesome review after two years of use.. YES IT IS VERY ANNOYING to listen to. THE thing NEVER shuts up! but my kid flipping LOVES this damn toy. NOT only that but we haven't taken very good care of it and the thing still looks new! The slides do pop out if you pick it up by the slides.. as my toddler did often. but they are easy to slide back in place. BTW It made my son extremely nervous that there was a chance this toy was going up in the attic so he hoarded it just to make sure I wouldn't try to sneak it away. That is how much he loves this toy! I almost feel bad wanting it to die so I don't have to hear the damn squeaking anymore haha.

Purchased for 15-month old. Kept him mesmerized for hours. Occasionally a penguin stops on the track - but the next one coming along - gets it moving again. The plastic roller coaster track is pretty durable considering my son has taken it apart and tried to eat it. Others have complained about the loud music - mine doesn't play music. Is that a bad thing? The only sound is the motor of the ladder which I haven't found annoying. I kinda like how the penguins glide on their back. My original one X-number of years ago didn't do that. Pretty simply toy and very entertaining. Cost is reasonable. I originally bought for $13 back in Sept. Just looked today and it's $17. Inflation by about 25%? That's probably the most annoying thing - as I was looking to buy a 2nd one for a friend's kid.

Made cheap, NO Instructions, falls over with a simple touch & is very small. Our track didn’t fully connect in the tunnel either and midway down, the penguins occasionally get stuck. Would not recommend.

Found this toy in a local mall 5 or 6 years ago and set it out as part of our holiday decorations..grands kids have always loved it.. Before the season we were surprised when our 3 year old kept asking for the penguins and was sad when the game couldn't be found. How she even remembered playing with it was amazing lol..So glad to have found it here :-) The kids have been entertained for hours through the years. There are small parts, rollers specifically, and though it only happened once one fell, or was knocked off, from the bottom of one of the little guys, so if you have little ones that might pop things into their mouths I suggest supervised play. As usual the old toy was found so expect this will continue to be a hit around here during the holidays.

This very cheaply made and not durable and too expensive for what it is and not suitable for children under 4.

Our 2 year old absolutely loves this toy. We gave it to him before Christmas and he still plays with it for hours even with all the other new toys around. After a week though, we couldn't handle the squeaking anymore so we followed a previous reviews instructions on how to shut up the penguins by removing the little plastic accordion piece inside. Worked like a charm!! We are sane again!! HINT: Just make sure the arm piece that was attached to the squeaker is aligned before screwing the two pieces back together or the stairs won't work.

Es un juguete genial, básicamente los pingüinos dan vueltas y suben y cuando llegan arriba se deslizan por el tobogán. A mi hija ale fascina verlos sin parar, tienes dos musicas una más tranquila y otra con mucho sonido. Ha triunfado el juguete
