Works exactly as advertised. Saves tons of time and once it is setup and working it is amazing. Getting it functioning perfectly does take some tweaking and a watchful eye until it's how you want it.

The set works as advertised. I used it outdoors to water eight pots during a two-week summer vacation. The setup was easy and the Blumat kit with bucket kept the plants watered. Things I should have done differently and which may be helpful to other users: 1) I assembled the kit the day before I left and did not have the time to adjust the water flow per instructions; next time I will put the kit together a few days in advance - as recommended in the instructions; 2) the water bucket is black, and the weather was very hot during my vacation (100+ deg F); it would be better to place the bucket in a shaded place if possible, as the heated water may cook the plant roots if the bucket is in the sun; 3) the supplied length of black 8mm tubing was just enough for my eight pots grouped together; a longer piece of tubing may be required if the pots are farther apart. Overall a great system that worked well for me.

The actual kit itself over all is nice, but somebody drilled 4 holes and used zip ties to attach a single connector piece that could have easily been thrown inside the bucket in a bag with the rest of the connector pieces. Not only can I not fill my reservoir up all the way, I now have light leaking into my reservoir causing issues. Don't buy this from Amazon buy it from Sustainable Village website. They don't drill holes in their 5 gal reservoirs like idiots and they have a much wider selection.

Worked perfectly! 8 potted plants left in porch for 10 days in hot weather…full sun…didn’t lose one! So empresses! Wish the container could be more attractive…or shaped like a big rock…or small “wooden” barrel (plastic) for 5 gals water

Works awesome but, in less than a year they raised the price over $15. So 3 stars for the price change. If you want Blumats, then find a cheaper price. They are great but, changing a price that much is ridiculous. I am so tired of seeing this. I go back into an old purchase to buy it again and see it’s gone up a bunch. I didn’t buy it on sale or have a discount. So why the $15+ increase? None of these items are commodities.

Easy to assemble and get running. I use an aquarium wave maker to keep nutrients well mixed. Keep the drip line near the carrot. Filling it up and leaving for a weekend knowing your plants are fed and watered is just great.

It works!!!! It takes time to set it up, so don't wait 'til the last minute to get it. Setting it up properly involves more than just hooking things up; you need to calibrate the water flow (drip) which is not hard, just takes time to get it right. I think tubing that is slightly more flexible would be a bonus, in addition to another "on/off" valve. I put the bucket on a table on my deck, and my vegetable plants and flowers are on the deck itself so the gravity fed system works well. I'm going to purchase the supplies necessary to hook up another system to a hose bib out front as my hanging plants are positioned too high to be able to be accommodated by a gravity-fed system.

It took a couple hours for me to get the entire thing all set up perfectly, but it was fairly simple after you get your first couple set up. I did my entire 16ft Balcony with the system and it was the perfect amount of line and waterers. So far, I have been using it for a month, and it has been a real time saver. It is also great knowing I am not over or under watering. Takes a little tweaking over time to get it just right for each plant, but is super easy to tweak. Definitely recommend.

Great product i I did not understand how to use it at first but then I learned that we have to raise the bucket higher than the level of the plants. So that the water drips down ward by gravity
