They are actually larger than described. I thought they would be smaller, so I ordered a large. It was 12" high and overall huge. I returned it for a medium which is 8" tall and exactly what I want. There are many sharp edges which can tear a betta's delicate fins, but it breaks and files easily. The inside is hollow. Since I found him stuck inside his last filter, I have very little confidence in his ability to survive without close supervision. I stuffed filter sponge inside to keep him from going up into the spires. The return was super fast and easy. I'm very pleased with my experience.

I almost never write reviews, but can’t help on this one. Solid built and looks like the $20 ones I saw in pet stores. I did sand the sharp edges a litttle bit but no big deal. The two bigger holes are big enough for the betta to pass easily.

Perfect for 5 gallon Betta Tank. Frodo loves it. Nice quality and color. The little white flowers really stand out making it really cute.

So ok I've gone off the deep end. But this is one in a whole series of aquarium decorations I've purchased, and this one , I find, is the best- the most sturdily constructed, artfully decorated and architecturally challenging and comforting to the betta. It fits into the awkward hole in the fluval tank. Recommend highly for 6 gallon tanks and bored fish. I will be searching the listings for more decorations of this quality for the other betta's tank.

Great size, beautiful detail, well packed. Worth every penny. Surprised at the quality for such a cheap price, wow.

My shark loves hiding inside. It takes patience to clean because of all of the ridges & nooks, but it looks great inside the tank.

Came in great, a bit smaller then what I thought but fits perfectly. Looks nice.
