Terrible Product. The lanterns arrived and when we opened them the paper was stuck to each other by some kind of glue causing a few of the lanterns to rip. The few that weren’t rip would not float and caught on fire, almost burnt down the trees and bushes on the mountain. This was so disappointing especially for the price. In total we only had 3 out of 10 lanterns float.

They are super thin, and they have a bit to much fuel for how thin they are. It takes two people to get one of these going because of how thin they are. The fuel lights quickly but it takes a while for the lantern to actually fill with enough air to go up. Also the fuel cells are not pre attached as stated in the listing and they are not punched through on both sides.Yes some of them do burn in spots, but the ones that did still went up, although not very high and looked wonky. They don’t fly as high as they should so make sure you are clear from trees. These are a last minute cheap alternative, but if you need 100% chance of them working, spend more.(blue & green burned very easily)

They were horrible 1/2 of them were ripped and broken. Couldn’t even u them last night for my nieces funeral. Very unhappy with this product was a waste of money

All the kids were SO excited to do these lanterns at the lake this weekend. THESE WERE TERRIBLE. Not a single one took off into the sky. Most of them already had holes or rips in them. They never filled up and we just ended up putting the fire out. Also, the directions (not that we needed the directions as we’ve don’t lanterns many times at the lake)... but the directions were clearly written by someone who does not speak English as the words that were put together made absolutely no sense. The only thing we enjoyed about these lanterns were the laughs we got when we were trying to “read” the directions. They were ridiculous. I would advise to NOT buy these... complete waste of money!

Very low quality. Only half worked as they should only after you had to finish the hole in the part that burns to attach it to the lantern. By far worst ones I ever seen or used. Not worth the money

I’d say about 1/2 of them actually got up in the sky. These are pretty difficult to get going. It says 2 people but I suggest 3 especially if it’s a bit windy. They did look great when they finally went up but if if you have a vision of them going up at the same time (even with a large group of people) it just won’t happen. Not unless every group of people lighting one has their own mini torch... a simple lighter will not do.

These were the hardest Chinese/sky lanterns I have ever tried to use. We light them off for my son's birthday EVERY year, except this year was a wash. They wouldn't light, 2 caught on fire, and the ones that DID go into the sky literally came almost immediately down. We were terrified something was going to catch fire. We threw the rest away. My kids are now terrified of paper lanterns and don't ever want to do, what was once a fun family event, ever again. :(

Truly disappointed! We had a hard time getting the fuel cell to light. Once we were able to get the cell lite, the flame was to intense and the side of the lantern caught fire.
