The Witch's Coin: Prosperity and Money Magick

info on company spirits worth the price of admission & then some
I have had this book for several years now, and I refer to it regularly. Christopher Penczak has pulled together a lot of useful information in one place that will help you in your work. Do you want to work with tarot cards? pick the right astrological phase? use crystals? use incense? charge and carry a talisman or amulet? find a deity to help you? work with angels? This book has got you covered, and it's got all this and more. The part that has particularly struck gold with me and that I have not seen mentioned much elsewhere outside of chaos magick circles is the information on spirits of place (lares, wights, etc.) and egregores. After reading this book, I have made a point of honoring the one for my company in various ways: I can leave a danish and a coffee for it in my office and no one is the wiser. I recommend making regular offerings to it or else it will feed off of you to fuel itself. When no one else is around (for obvious reasons), I speak to it and tell it my plans and ask for its help. I don't even bother asking my regional manager for anything anymore. The spirits or lares of a business are laser-focused on what is best for the company, and they move LIGHTNING FAST to help you once you clue them in to what you need to help the enterprise to succeed. They will help you and protect you because you can act for them here on the material plane. I have received a promotion with a good raise and my store has gotten lots of new stuff that the others do not get. You will find that things will break and have to be replaced, like the old crappy computer that was too slow anyway. There are lots of blessings in disguise, so don't get upset when this sort of thing starts happening. The bad employees have been edged out one way or another, and now I have my dream team in place. I can't fire or transfer anyone, but the company spirits can AND THEY DO. They have a lot of influence over people in upper management, who are equally devoted to the success of the company. I don't ask for particular outcomes, I just tell the lares what I see happening and ask for their help to make things better. I'm never sure how they will resolve something until they do it, and they are all about taking care of business.I'm deep in the broom closet at work and I work for a conservative, straight-laced company, so if I can do this at work anyone can. If you work for yourself or somewhere you can get away with even more, like having candles or an altar, just imagine what you and the company spirits can achieve together.I highly, highly recommend this book to anyone starting out working prosperity magick. Christopher covers a lot of ground and gives you lots of options, and you will probably find something that you can afford to do. The last thing you need to do is go out and buy a bunch of stuff if you need money, and it's not always necessary here. Chances are you have some of the items/ ingredients already and can get started right away. You can make things as simple or complicated as you wish. Like all books, it can't cover everything but it's a great jumping-off point with plenty of good advice.

Healing & Realization, some non-denominational insights
With an open mind, many people can learn a lot from this book and improve their personal outlook on life with it comes to how to think regarding wants, limitations, lack, generosity, desire, divine rights and more. You don't need to be interested in 'witchcraft', or a 'pagan' in order to learn A LOT from this book. This book wold be great for anyone interested in wanting to improve their relationship with 'Divine Supply'.One of the great virtues of this universe is remaining teachable. That mean listening to someone's story or perspective with an open mind and an open heart.... Listening for what you need to hear.... And adapt what you've learned to your own unique path.I am finding the text portion of this book (non-exercise) to be quite powerful in helping me to consider alternative perspectives regarding fulfilling needs and wants while staying within the integrity of my spiritual path. This book has some exercises, but I feel that the exercises only represent a fraction of the books value because the exercises can only work based upon 'intent', 'effort', and 'emotion' is put into the exercise. In other words, no matter how great the exercises are, the author has no control over how well they work for such is up to the user or reader. Most likely, I will find myself referencing back to this book. Will make a great addition to any spiritual seeker's library. :)

Dry and unoriginal
I was so disappointed by this book. So much of the book was basically a witchy take on The Secret and in my opinion not done very well. I don’t know if this author was the right one for this topic. It felt very forced, very dry and even a little preachy. I’m not really clear on what they were attempting to achieve with this book either. The tone and lack of substantive content really fell flat with me. I have some of the authors other books which I am hoping are better.

The 'luck of the witch' is a male interpretation which this book expolores anonymosly.
This was hard to appreciate from a social analyitcal perspective. It was a lone read that takes you to new levels of loneliness and how to work with the forces that are surpressed or stiffled there. I picked this book up as a blonde, and reviewed it as a brunette if that makes sense. The cover holds beauty simalarities to that of ancient eygptian royalties, but the insert was more of an american autistic tale excluding gypsism and freindship within witchcraft, taking a more sorcery nature than most would hold the name witch to!
