DO NOT BUY - GARBAGE ADAPTER!!!!!
This doesn't work. I tried it with multiple adapters and Surface Pro computers. It's a cheap piece of trash. It doesn't charge either. I used adapters from 65W, 120W, and 135W, and the best I could get was a very dim light. I verified another adapter was working on both Surface Pro computers.DO NOT BUY

Needs very specific power source
This will not work with just any USB C power supply, it needs very specific 15 volts & 3 Amps. The description heavily mentions this, but i figured, i can charge my MacBook with a 5v phone charger, so perhaps this will be a bit flexible too.. but no..The beefiest USB-C power supply i have is a 45W MacBook pro. And even that doesn’t work. Probably because it doesn’t have a 15V output, but it does have 19v (which the MacBook uses. It probably also has 9v, but not 15v is what I’m trying to say. Hence my Surface pro won’t take charge from it.I’m not gonna buy a separate specific power delivery just for this, I’d rather use the OEM power supply. My intention with this was to have a separate power supply in my basement utilizing what i have already and keep the OEM in the main floor.Bottom line: if you don’t have a specific 15v 3A power supply to use with this adapter, don’t buy it.

Very convenient
Convenient to carry in your laptop bag. Takes up much less room then the OEM brick. It fits a type C cable. It's nice to be able to charge your laptop with the same charger you charge your phone with, Just make sure you have at least a 65w charger. anything smaller and it wont charge the laptop. I tried a 20w and the laptop didn't even show a charger plugged into it.

Stopped working in less than 3 months.
I bought this product to use when I would work outside of the home. This product worked "ok" for a while. It would charge my Surface Laptop 6 for business decently well, albeit slowly. I went to use it today and it has completely stopped working. I troubleshot with different cords but the thing is dead dead. Really disappointing since now I'm SOL on a charger for my work computer when I am not home. Amazon options for "replacement" were just to trouble shoot on my own.

Works great for the Surface Pro 7+
The description states that the Surface Pro 8/9 will report "low power" messages when using this power adapter. The Surface Pro 7+ is supposed to have all the internals of the 8, and so it was with some doubts I bought this adapter for my Pro 7+. I am happy to report that this adapter works perfectly in conjunction with both a 65W PD USB-C adapter as well as with a Lenovo ThinkPad T-41 USB-C charger and my Pro 7+ charges at the normal (quick) rate. It works with both orientations in the Surface Pro Connector slot and both orientations of the USB-C jack in the adapter. This adapter lets me use basically any modern laptop USB-C charger in conference rooms while still keeping my USB-C port available for second monitors or other USB-C devices. I can keep one adapter constantly attached to my travel bag's USB-C charger cable and it is ready to go while I'm on the road with basically no additional bulk too. This is a quality adapter and I am going to buy more to keep a few at different locations.
