Highly recommend! Daughter first tablet ever! Durable and reliable!
Daughter’s first tablet ! And she loved it as did i, affordable and having the vase helped out so much to keep it safe as she was growing. Doesn’t hold that much space if your looking for something of that nature but it serves its purpose if you need or want jsut a regular electronic. To stream YouTube or have a few games on for you little one. Comes just as pictured, arrived late but it was the holidays and around Christmas, packaged nicely, no electronical errors to note, and she still has this after 4 years later… it did hold up I can say that! She dropped it several times as she was only 2 at the time so many drops it did take but never broke or was busted. I will highly recommend getting an extra screen protector however, but the case itself is rubber and the color is exactly the pink as shown ….. tablet holds charge but not as compared to the ones today so maybe they have upgraded them since, heavy duty durable outside rubber case to protect from everyday wear and tear also comes equipped with the kick stand built into the case which is also durable to help prop it up when videos are playing and they cannot hold it at the same time, this was my daughters favorite part about it that and the fact that it was pink and her first big girl tablet! I highly recommend for anyone looking to purchase their LOs first tablet!

Perfect
I recently purchased the Fire 7 Kids Tablet for my little one, and it has been an absolute game-changer for us! Designed for ages 3-7, this tablet has a 7" display that’s perfect for little hands, and I couldn't be happier with the features it offers. One of the standout aspects of this tablet is its durability. The kid-proof case provides excellent protection against drops and bumps, which is crucial for any device in the hands of young children. I’ve seen my child accidentally drop it a couple of times, but the tablet has held up perfectly without any scratches or damage. The 16 GB storage is sufficient for storing a variety of apps, games, and educational content. Plus, it comes pre-loaded with a year of Amazon Kids+ (formerly FreeTime Unlimited), which offers access to a wide range of age-appropriate books, videos, games, and educational apps. This has kept my child entertained and engaged, and I love that the content is curated to be safe and suitable for their age.Navigating the tablet is intuitive, making it easy for my child to find their favorite shows and games. The touchscreen is responsive, and the graphics are vibrant, providing an enjoyable viewing experience. The parental controls are another fantastic feature; I can easily set screen time limits and monitor what my child is accessing, giving me peace of mind.Battery life is impressive as well, lasting several hours on a single charge, which is great for long car rides or waiting at appointments. The tablet also comes with a sturdy stand that makes it easy to prop up for hands-free viewing during storytime or while watching educational videos.Overall, the Fire 7 Kids Tablet is an excellent investment for any parent looking to introduce technology in a safe and educational way. It combines entertainment and learning seamlessly, and my child absolutely loves it! I highly recommend this tablet to other parents seeking a fun, durable, and kid-friendly device for their little ones.

Basic Tablet with a Few Flaws
We bought this tablet after numerous reviews on other sites noted the kid friendly features, access to apps, books, and videos, and the parental controls. With Black Friday deals, the price also could not be beat, and we expected to make a few concessions over something like the Leapfrog tablet. Overall we are happy with the purchase. Our child enjoys the games and books, the parental controls are good at limiting screen time and the Amazon Kids app does have some great content. It can be slow and clearly has older components, but that is a trade off at the price and frankly probably not something young kids will notice. There are a few major flaws that never came up during my research that I wanted to bring up.First, the Kids app has access to great content but there is currently NO way to prevent children from downloading every single app, book, or game that they see despite the parental controls. It never prompts for parental approval to download and you have to trust that the age range you select is keeping your kids from something that you don't want. This means more parental oversight than initially expected. Amazon could fix this with a software update, but now that I know what to look for, I found threads online bringing this issue up for years now which is disappointing.Second, the parental controls can allow you to limit screen time to books or apps before videos, however it isn't terribly sophisticated so apps with videos such as PBS trick it into thinking your child is doing some sort of learning app when they are actually watching videos. Again, more parental oversight is needed than expected and could be fixed with a software update.Lastly, since Amazon wants you to use their app store, you can not download Google's version of any apps for adult or for kids use. That means that for long plane or car rides if you have movies on YouTube you own digitally, you can not download them for viewing. This was mentioned but should be repeated as it effectively limits your use to Amazon's system and requires you to pay for their Prime membership if you want full access.Overall a good device for the money with some strong positives, but beware the limitations.
