So like you, I read so many reviews that I delayed buying this product. However, eventually, I felt like it was worth giving a try as I have wanted to try a balm cleanser for some time. I am 40 years old, minimal signs of my age - but acne-prone! I do work with a dermatologist for my acne. It has been about 10 days, and I have used this both morning and night. I have no idea what voodoo magic this stuff is, but I love my skin! Now, I am sure my acne regime is helping as it should, but this product has not caused or increased my break-outs. It has made my face very smooth; I love the smell - think fancy day spa/essential oil; the texture is like warm butter and you need such a tiny amount - this jar is going to last a very long time. The jar is also made that you should be able to get every last bit of product out easily. I know the price is steep - but you get your money's worth. I almost feel bad for those that were not able to use the product; I find it to be a welcome indulgence and can't wait to share it with the ladies in my family. If you had any doubt, buy the travel size. I love it!

I love this ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm! From the very first use, I was hooked. The smell is incredible — so spa-like, fresh, and herby — it makes cleansing feel like a little moment of luxury every day. It works beautifully, melting away makeup and leaving my skin feeling extremely soft afterward. My complexion looks radiant, smooth, and glowing, with absolutely no greasy or oily residue. It might seem expensive, but I only use a pea-sized dab, and it truly goes a long way — making it worth every penny. This balm makes my skin look and feel amazing — definitely a must-have in my skincare routine!

I purchased this after seeing it on my Insta feed with some good reviews. I bought the small container to try it out- it’s perfect size for travel. The first time I put it on my face, my immediate reaction was that it was like putting lard on my face and no way was this cleaning my face. BUT, that opinion quickly changed. It definitely feels a little weird putting it on, I cannot lie, but when you rinse it off, your face is so luxuriously soft and smooth- it is so hydrated! I have dry skin and typically use a hydration serum before any other serums or moisturizers. But since using this balm, my skin has never been softer. The scent is absolutely heaven sent too- like being at the spa and getting a facial. I quickly purchased 3 more tubs for g fits and one large tub for myself. It’s pricey and there is no way I spend this amount if I didn’t think it was exceptional when compared to other cleaning products out there (and I have lots of them).

I bought my first container of this exquisite product on a cruise after they used it during my facial. I remember loving the smell and the way it felt on my face. Now I use it at home whenever I wash off makeup and I swear it makes me look younger every time I use it. I actually fall asleep faster when I wash my face right before bed. I have a lot of skin products but this is by far my favorite.

Licensed Medical Aesthetician and RN here. I’m a little bit natural and a little bit “bring on the Botox” when it comes to skin care. Basically I want products that not only touch on all my senses, but do their job well. I’m typically minimal with my skin care routine, opting for water or olive oil to cleanse my skin, but I was intrigued by this cleansing balm when I first saw it. The oils didn’t intimidate me because I have used them regularly on my face for the last decade or more. What completely surprised me (besides the delightful scent and ability to remove my mascara effortlessly) came as I wiped the product off my face with warm water and the provided cloth — it left my skin feeling soft, but not the tiniest bit greasy or oily at all. I wasn’t prepared for that, but I didn’t hate it! :) I’m not expecting any benefit from the collagen because if you are a science nerd like myself or have studied aesthetics you know that the molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin... unless they are broken down first. However, the ingredients in this product are very beneficial for the overall skin health. Thumbs up to that! When I try new products I typically give myself at least a few months of using them regularly to decide whether I love them or not. It’s only been a couple of days using this, so I have a little while before I can give my official personal review, but so far it’s off to a very good start.

I've been using it about every other day in the mornings, it does make my skin feel very good, and look very smooth. But I don't know if that's enough to justify the price for it. No complaint for the product itself, just deducting one star for the expensive price tag.

This Elemis product is a dream! It is so smooth and luscious, it makes me want to wash my face! It literally melts makeup! There is no dryness at all after washing. It only takes a little to smooth all over the face and neck so i predict it should last at least 3 months. It is the best cleanser I have ever used and I am very selective about my skincare products.

I discovered Elemis in the spa on the Princess Cruise line. They use these products exclusively for good reason, and I fell in love with them. I had not tried this product yet, but the spa on the cruise had used this on me. It is so gentle, yet will take off all eye makeup gently and without getting into your eyes or stinging (of course keep eyes relaxed but closed!!). To test its effectiveness in cleansing, I went over my face with my Clarisonic, and there was no makeup left! There was only very soft, very clean, moisturized, nourished, and oh so silky skin revealed. I use very soft muslin cloths along with this, as I think these work well together. I think it's very highly priced, but it does last quite awhile--well over a month--maybe close to 2 months. Don't be afraid to try this. I have at age 59, some adult acne outbreaks, but this product does not interfere with what other products I use for that, so I feel that it is appropriate for more oily skin as well as other skin types. Enjoy and the fragrance is quite lovely in a soothing, cleansing fashion--nothing perfumey.

This balm leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean. It is perfect for removing makeup and gently wiping clean with a face cloth. Highly recommend buying this cleanser.

It really helps me get my make-up of, but I have different mascara and it doesn’t take them al off easily

I have notoriously sensitive skin, that is quite prone to irritation and eczema, and this is beautifully gentle whilst still being effective. I love Elemis products and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. It has a delicate smell, which lingers on the skin ever so slightly, but leaves your skin so soft without a hint of greasiness. Whilst it’s not the cheapest product out there, a little goes a long way and your skin will thank you! I bought it whilst it was on sale and was pleasantly surprised by the size and the bonus face cloth with it, and it will probably last me a good 6 months. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially if you’re looking to combat early signs of aging or you have more delicate skin

I have used this for about 2 weeks. The texture is very smooth and balmy. I like the way it melts quickly with body temperature. Feels really luxurious. I have combination acne prone skin and this hasn't cause issue. It emulsifies very well compared to the much more expensive Omoravicza cleansing balm (which I hate). However it does leave a thin layer of oil on your face after you rinse it off. I personally don't mind it and I think my skin feels soft and nourished that way. The scent is a bit strong but not particularly unpleasant. It smells like essential oil they use in a spa. The shipping is fast and the price is not bad compared to it's RSP on their website.
