Awesome little cable cutters (Model 170, Color # 0).
Awesome little cable cutters (Model 170, Color # 0). These things are very sharp. I'm really impressed with them, especially considering the price. I used them to cut off a bunch of 18 guage brad nails and they had no problems whatsoever. Shipping took awhile as they came straight from China, but I knew this when I ordered and waited patienly like a good little boy...(Prime Shipping was not available).

More than expected for the low price.
Picture showed a "Plato Model 170" and that's exactly what I received when I ordered #0.Shipping took a while but it was still before the expected ship date. They're good flush cutter, there's a small burr on the tip that rubs on the other jaws, but doesn't impair cutting. Handles are solid and stay attached. Spring is strong enough to spring them back open after cutting. Nips right through thin wires and deformed toenails without kicking the edge on the flush side.

Nice size. Great so far. Great price. Wear safety goggles.
These are great so far. They price is super low and they cut nice. I hadn't owned a set of wire cutters this small but they sure are handy. I can get tip into small places which is nice. They are very sharp. These will be my go to for cutting smaller wires from now on. I may buy a couple more sets to keep as spares in case they get dull or I cut conduit with them for some reason. The first wire I cut made a noise and the little piece of wire went flying into the air. (maybe I should have worn safety goggles like the handle says) Luckily it didn't go in my eye. They take a very long time to arrive. When I ordered mine it was free shipping on one but expensive shipping on more than one. I just ordered several one at a time for a very low price. The come from Hong Kong I believe. (international mail for sure)

Well Worth The Buy!
These things are great! Super sharp and I have been using these for over a week and they do not even come close to feeling like they are trying to dull out. I use these for cutting models out of their racks (I forget the proper term) Heck I've even used these to cut my sanding sticks into smaller pieces. I wished I bought 2 of these! If buying from out of the country they are super cheap but be warned the shipping is very slow. But still worth it!

The "#0" are awesome for only $2 while "Diagonal Cutting" are waste of money.
Bought wire cutters that are listed as just being "#0" and has no description, no specs, nothing other than they cost $1.95. Not thinking that they would be much for <$2, I was pleasantly surprised that they were great wire cutters especially for fine electronics or jewelry work. They are precise and able to cut great at its fine tip. Used it on wire as large as 20 gauge. They are much better than the Stanley look alike listed as "Diagonal Cutting" for $2.39 which because the edges are not aligned right, don't cut much of anything. Also many of the other cutters listed here look the same as #0 and some even have the same rating on the handle of (max dia. being 1.0mm) but for 2-3x the cost. I just bought 3 more before someone realizes they made a mistake in selling them for $2 (actually $1.95). So don't waste your money on the "Diagonal Cutting" but I highly recommend the "#0" that I would buy even if it cost more than $1.95.

Works just fine for wires and plastic, could be stronger
I bought this for 3D printing and mostly use it for cutting plastic filament (and the occasional model kit runner), so I wasn't particularly worried about the metallurgy here. That being said, these are sharp and have performed better than what I expected for the price. I did however make the mistake of trying to cut a little toy spring with it since I had the cutters handy at the time, and I figured they would be strong enough to cut through 0.2 mm of steel wire. The blades actually ended up deformed at the tip (the point of contact) leaving a rounded notch while the spring itself remained frustratingly intact. Probably best to stick to electronics and plastic since tougher materials would be pushing it. That being said I'm happy enough with this purchase that I'm getting another pair to use exclusively as nippers for model kit building.

Very Good For This Price Point
The 'brand name' of wire cutters of this style are pretty expensive, so I decided to give these a try. I only use them to cut light gauge wire and bits of plastic, and so far no problems. The oversize cushioned grips are good too. That Said, they are not perfect. The cutting jaws are not finished evenly and look 'off', one side appears to have a larger jaw. They do cut straight, just look goofy.HOWEVER for a coupe of dollars, they do very well, but I don't do any heavy cutting with them at all.

Nice little light duty flush cutters
These are nice cutters for the price. NOT for cutting metal. For wood, plastic, or fine wire. I put mine in the bathroom for cutting my nails, works wonderfully, bought another pair for hobby. Flush cutters NOT wire cutters
