William Morris Textiles Hardcover – April 16, 2013

This book is a beautiful history of William Morris and those who worked with him! The pictures are great and there is so much information. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

I love this book. Filled with knowledge and examples. Got it at an excellent price used but I barely notice the wear. It covers all the different mediums Morris worked in and includes a catalog of repeating textiles at the end of the book which is very informative. Fantastic book.

Absolutely beautiful book. It will inspire me for years to come. You will not be disappointed. Color images are beautiful.

I'd like to have given it 3 1/2 stars.I understand that it is expensive to reproduce color photographs, especially in the early 80s, but 3/4 of the pictures in the book are B&W and it's hard to think of a subject that needs color photos more than a treatment of William Morris. The color photos are good and there is a very useful appendix with color pictures of the most popular designs. The B&W images are often not as crisp as they should be.The text is interesting and very helpful.I like the book. I'm not harping on the images but I def think it's important for people to know exactly what they're getting.

Beautiful book! Great page flipper and wonderful for anyone doing a research paper on William Morris.
