Mayfair 3m Cantilever Parasol - Taupe - Base Not Included

By this one! It comes with the best base you can get in a heavy solid marble much better than the water fillable plastic things! We needed two people to lift them into position they are so heavy. Other than that setting it up was easy. I was moving three umbrellas around A south facing patio this 3 m umbrella covers the lot. The 360° rotation makes it amazingly flexible as you can see in the pictures I can move around to cover the garden or the patio. It also adjusts up and down and angles to catch any stray sun. Even in quite windy conditions it is totally stable. As you can tell I love it and I’ve made an extra effort to do this review because it just deserves it and so does the company as customer service was amazing they phoned before delivery to check the day and where to deliver it and were simply delightful. I paid £200 and I think it’s cheap I’d pay 500 for it! I looked at hundreds of umbrellas it seemed and was feeling quite lost as to which one to get as many of them were sold without bases and bases came in half sets it was so complicated. Get this one! Note it won’t go in the middle of a table it’s best suited For flexibility if you want to move it around 360 for different areas. The canvas is thick And hard wearing. And I really like the colour as it’s not too dark and not too light so it doesn’t show the dirt but it doesn’t feel too dark over your head. It looks classy! I’m not linked in any way to the company so don’t think I’m being asked to do it I just bought it and love it and noticed it had no reviews and want to Help anyone who was finding it as hard as me to find the right decent umbrella. So glad I did as it’s 35° today but I’m not going to be too hot! I love it and so does Daisy the dog you might spot in the pics lol! Buy this one xxx

I bought this to provide some shade for our new hot tub without needing a permanent installation like a gazebo.It took ages to arrive (around 4 weeks) but it was worth the wait. Easy to set up, and feels very sturdy. The base plates (granite) weigh 60kg (130 lb) so it’s the equivalent of somebody standing on the base. The parasol itself is nice tough material and has an air release on the top to stop it catching the wind. It looks stunning, and is a perfect fit for our hot tub.Very happy with this item. I would recommend adding a parasol cover to prolong its life.

I bought this product august 22First the stone weights were smashed on arrival which took a month to resolve so we couldn’t use itThen as it’s a summer parasol we used it until about end September then it’s been stored so basically had a few weeks use which was ok we the brought it out for summer may and after about 3 weeks broke sent videos photos etc and the seller just ignores us send generic replies told us to contact Amazon a ICB we did and sadly is it’s 10 months old they can’t help a £10 gift card is what we got for an expensive mistake don’t use don’t buy off this seller bad quality and terrible customer service

Heavy duty parasol which was perfect for over hot tub.Something went wrong and could no longer close it. Can't find manufacturer details or if it's possible to buy a spare part ( crank)It is guaranteed for a year but it's a strong well made item that should last several years!Hate to have to throw it away because I can't purchase a replacement part - everything else is still in good condition.

I have had the parasol for a few months now and it is brilliant, it looks great and more expensive than it actually is. Easy to operate and tilt and swivel to keep the sun off. Highly recommended.

We haven’t used it much as yet due to high winds but it appears to be very sturdy.

The construction and build of the parasol is very good. Easily put together with good instruction. There is one point that could be either better explained or dealt with is the ball bearing races for revolving the parasol. These need grease to give lubrication to movement and protection from rusting.Unfortunatly we have not yet had the sun to use it successfully, but looking forward to this.

Thoroughly pleased with the overall high quality of this parasol. The granite stand is very sturdy and heavy. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. Great value for money.
