As usual Guy is all over the place with stories, this is why I enjoy his books.

Read other Guy Martin books and this one doesn't disappoint, very entertaining.

Being a fan of Guy Martin and having a collection of all his books, this one is also a page turner with great content. His adventures are filled with entertaining, gutsy challenges coupled with the day to day logistics that we all navigate. Well written, "Real and Proper"

After not reading a novel for over 40 years, I was given Guy Martin My Autobiography as a gift and enjoyed it so much I bought When you dead you dead. That was read very quickly and was then followed by Worms to catch. A quick look on Amazon after finishing this one revealed this latest book We need to weaken the mixture. All of the books are very entertaining to read and written in Guy's unorthodox style which makes such compelling reading. This one was probably my favourite, more so because it was more current, running up to mid 2018.

I have all Guy Martin's books and find his style of writing very insightful and brutally honest in his assessment of life events and people he comes across. He doesn't mince words and there's nowt wrong with that, and it's easy to read the text and imagine him actually saying what he's scribbled down, not been ghost written. The section about his trip to Russia was particularly interesting to me because I spend a lot of time working there in the Arctic and Siberia and was glad to hear that his opinion of the Russians he came across coincide with mine, they are generally really friendly, welcoming and hospitable to Brits and love to have fun. There is one photo and newspaper article in the back of the book that had me doubled up laughing aloud, and that alone was worth buying the book for. Can't wait for the next book to come out!
