Replacement Lite-On DG-16D2S(-09C) DVD Drive for XBOX 360

The product description says: "Drives are from new consoles split for parts, outer casing may show some minor cosmetic marks from storage."But the item that I got was clearly tempered with. When I opened the drive up, the board was dirty the wires were stripped like if someone bit on it. The solder was messy. This is most likely NOT from a brand new console. (They even put a "new" warranty sticker on the drive. Which leads me to believe that they are trying to deceive)The drive works ok for now but I was hoping for a new drive. And since this is a used drive (or at least tempered with), who knows how long it'll last.Was going to give 1 star but bumped it up to 2 since drive is functional.

"Drives are from new consoles split for parts" - I don't think this is true. But swapped and soldered the old circuit board to this drive and worked like a charm!

PurchAsed this to replace my son’s disk drive on his Xbox. Item came clean, boards were easily swapped from the old drive and it works as new again :-)

Beware that if you are using this to fix an xbox360 you will need to swap the circuit board from the old drive to this new drive due to Microsoft. I did this and the console is able to read any disk I put in.

Works great! If doing yourself make sure you take out the old motherboard in the new disc drive and put yours in it. If you miss this step your 360 will be a DVD player.

Did not work for me. We installed it but eject did not work and did not play games.

This was exactly what I needed. It was an fit for my Xbox.
