Covercraft UVS100 Custom Sunscreen | Fits 2010-2019 Lexus GX460 | Silver

I really love this sunshade, and for the price I was a little concerned I wouldn't think it was that much different. Oh man, I was wrong.. The custom fit of this shade is nearly perfect, and doesn't interfere with my mirror or the built in rain sensor in the GX460 at all. If you look carefully at the photo, you can see that the shade neatly rests outside of these.Pros:Keeps the car COOL. Really no issues on hot days, unless sun is coming through the side windows.Fit is very solid. I got very tired of fiddling with cheap mylar foil ones you could buy from the store. This is truly a custom cut shade.It's solid. It feels like it will last for quite a while.It'll stay in place even if you don't fold down your mirrors, although I do for extra security.Keeps your dash and leather from getting bleached from the sunCons:Price, but you get what you pay for. If you're complaining about a 50$ custom cut shade, I don't know what to tell you.It has a slight gap- but I don't think this is really a con. I feel like it helps you avoid the front handles, and goes in place easily.Overall I love the shade. It's a great addition to the GX460, and I'd even recommend it highly as a gift to someone who owns one! I felt like it was a bit expensive, but when I pulled the trigger I realized they could easily charge double for a product this nice. It's a real value for what it offers.

This car cover makes your car look less ghetto and is much easier to put up. works amazing and is worth the considerable extra coin it costs over generic windshield screens.

Bought this for a new 2022 GX 460 Luxury. It covers the entire windshield and keeps the hot destructive sun off the dash, wood steering wheel, and super soft leather. Its worth the effort to put it on / take it off. The rigid construction holds up to the hot sun unlike those softer mylar reflective shields that get soft in the heat and just fall down.

Perfect fit and sturdy.

Almost perfect fit wish it had one more inch on each side. But overall is the best I have found (Lexus GX460 (2023)).

2024 - This is my third UVS100. This one for use in a Lexus...PROS: The sunscreen works well, fits fairly well, and allows the heated air between windshield and sunscreen to circulate from that narrow space. (A windshield glass company said that this is preferable to trapping additional heat at the glass)CONS: The weight of this product will cause a long-term use problem for Lexus sun visors. The internal visor "brakes" which normally hold the visors closed and extended when in use, will eventually fail (even in normal use) by the repeated weight of the UVS100 leaning against them. Lexus visors are not designed to support any additional weight.RECOMMENDATIONS: (1) Redesign this product with a lighter core, AND/OR (2) add a quality suction cup (UV-rated silicon) to the upper-middle section which can be easily attached by pushing, and detached from the windscreen by the flick of a finger.

very happy with the result - fits my 2021 lexus gx460 just right

I owned thin fabric Shades with the spring steel frame for years. They worked OK only falling apart after several years use. The only replacements to be found were similar in appearance but very cheap Chinese made which broke the first use. I then found the "Covercraft Silver" on Amazon and although much more expensive made the purchase. The best part is that my wife is also very pleased since the car interior temperature is much cooler than ever before. They also seem very durable if properly folded up and stored. Another "You get what you pay for" story.
