It's a very good product, but not as good as I expected ...
It's a very good product, but not as good as I expected it to be. The controller is nice, it has a nice feel to it and comes with a silicone cover to add up a little protection to it, however, some games have an issue when pressing a button. It has a second delay once pressing a button in order to chain a combo. Don't get me wrong though, it plays really well on strategy games, rpg games, and puzzle games. But when it comes to platforming games and fighting games, your gonna suffer a bit with the delay responding and that's sadly one of my worst issues of gaming. But overall, this controller is good and at least it connects to the device well enough to listen to the actions, but with a little delay side effect to it. Nice price for the controller though.

A good low cost accessory for someone like me who isn't ...
Works well. Conpatible with most games. I haven't played on any of the more expensive controllers, so I can't compare them. This is a tad small, but I have large hands. It is still quite usable, and not uncomfortable. A good low cost accessory for someone like me who isn't an avid gamer but goes on playing jags here and there. Totally satisfied with purchase and service.

perfect for rooted/non rooted devices
I am very surprised at the quality. This is a very good thing in terms of video game controllers. I bought the controller over a month ago, if not more and I had not needed to recharge its battery at all until about a week ago. That is good longevity for heavy gamers

Better than buying more expensive options, and the quality is amazing
The best cheap gamepad you can get for your Android. It works flawlessly on both my Galaxy Note 10.1 and my Note 3, on the games that supports it as well as all the emulators. Definitely would recommend for the price and the clip even fits my huge phone! Even better than the iControlPad. Do not hesitate if you want physical controls to your gaming/emulator experience. And the Viaplay company helped me out when I had problems with the app and figuring out the gamepad! So you're getting plenty of tech support with this :) can't say enough good things about this. You may want to put super glue on three analog sticks because they can come off, but can be put back on.

Favorite Gamepad!
One of the best smart phone gamepads on the market, and the analog works great, can be a little tricky setting up but once you do get it, you pretty much don't need to do to much from there. Sometimes you might need to button map it in the viaplay gamepad app, sometimes you might need to button map in the emulator or program your using, as sometimes the viaplay app will override or "double input" and screw up how it works so you might need to then disable it in the via play app. It even totally works with 2 players if you get another one and I like using my phone to play emulators and old school arcade games and while me and my girlfriend are in the car we can play marvel vs capcom or play some cool playstation RPG together two player mode wirelessly on bluetooth on the same phone. Remember to flip the switch from mouse to gamepad mode (I forgot once and it frustrated me alot and didn't realize that was why) and I have an android phone and need to have the "keyboard input" set to "via play mapping" and it must be checked on in order for it to work but it only drops down from my notifications randomly it seems or I have to do something to get it to pop up and then I can make sure its checked, or I can go to language and inputs in device settings and make sure its enabled there. FIts nice in my hand, is sleek and small, easy for traveling, the holder for your phone is adjustable and fits most models and fits my phone very well, and is very snug and secure, buttons work great, really glad about having four shoulder triggers like the playstation controllers (for emulators). Battery seems to last a while. Did a lot of research around and I thought this one seemed like the best out of the bunch and I was really looking for something I could carry in my jacket or pocket, and had good analog so my thumbs wouldn't hurt and I could still do dragon punches, and hadukens with street fighter games and super combo finishes with ease. The dpad is nice and I use it every now and then when I'm lazy and don't want to figure out the analog set up if it doesn't work right away on what I'm doing. Over all the controller is very responsive.

my revieww!!
I have a rooted Kindle Fire HD, and I got this gamepad mainly for use with the Viaplay software called "Viaplay Gamecenter" Actually, I love playing Android games with the gamepad, but most of my favorite games are "touch only" games. This means that they only work with the on screen touch controls. One example of this is the game "Monster Shooter". The APP is pretty easy to use, you press a combination of buttons and a screenshot comes up, then you can "Map" the different buttons or even the joysticks to areas on the screen where you would normally have to touch. The touch mapping features require your device to be rooted, but I do that anyway. So if you aren't afraid of rooting, give it a try. If you don't want to do touch mapping or aren't rooted the software is still helpful because it provides a game compatibility list and you can download and launch games from the app directly.

Don't waste your money on this one
Do NOT buy! (if you have an iPhone) I got this has a gift for my boyfriend and it does not work on his iPhone 6s even though the box said this controller would work on any iPhone. Don't waste your money on this one. It felt cheap and out dated anyway.. sent it back for a refund.
