One of my favorite products - healthy skin again!
I’ve used oils as cleansers and moisturizers before, but for some reason I stopped using them. I was having a hard time finding a moisturizer for my skin since I moved to Western (very cold) NY: some made my face greasy, others didn’t moisturize well enough. I switched to using a cleansing oil at night and moisturizing with this oil (after using a serum with super hyraulonic acid). I don’t know what my favorite thing is about this oil. Obviously it’s inexpensive compared to some oils (I used Josie Maran before) but it smells so good (like citrus) and moisturizes my face incredibly well with no hints of grease ever, and my skin feels hydrated, is very soft, and looks a lot healthier than before I started using this product. My skin tone and texture have both improved in a very short amount of time. The oil doesn’t bother my sensitive skin or make me break out (it’s helped with both problems, actually). Finally, my skin glows! That’s the magic of oils that I forgot about. I’m in love with this oil, and as long as it works with my skin and the weather, I will continue using this!!

Answer to really dry skin.
✮ Like all other beauty products I've fallen in love with, this too has been discontinued. ✮ The good news: it's really easy to recreate this oil. (Discussed more at the bottom of review) ✮ This was the first facial oil I had ever tried or even heard of. For perennially dry skin like mine, it was a godsend. ✮ Before, it only took an hour for foundation to become splotchy and concealer to look really dry and crepey under my eyes (no matter how many supposedly moisturizing makeup products I used). This keeps that at bay for a full workday. ✮ I had 30 year old skin when I began using it (now 32). Never experienced a breakout as a result of use. ✮ I tried two others (Loreal and some brand called SES) after stores stopped selling it. Loreal was really oily but not hydrating (it never wanted to sink in) and the other smelled like urine (probably a result of the urea in it). ✮ Alas, I stopped seeing it in stores about a year ago now meaning I've had to make due with stuff likely nearing it's expectation date. ✮ Enter DIY facial oil. Basically, this oil is comprised of several different "carrier" oils (grapeseed, apricot, and coconut oil being the main ones). It also has a few essential oils, which I've learned are great in terms of smell but not the best for your skin. ✮ Those carrier oils are readily available on Amazon (and they're far more affordable than the Olay). I ultimately filled a 2 ounce bottle with an equal mix of grapeseed, coconut and sweet almond oil, then I added a few drops of orange essential oil just to give it a refreshing scent. I actually found it to be more hydrating than the Olay.

Solid product, temper your expectations.
This is a good product. I originally bought it to see if it would even out my skin tone, like the luminous line from Olay advertises. I didn't really get that perk. However, I still enjoyed using it as a night time moisturizer for my oily skin. Only 4-5 drops was enough and the next morning, my skin looked fresh and nourished. I recently learned about the double cleansing method and I like the product more as the first step for cleaning my face. It doesn't burn my eyes like the Rice Water Bright cleansing oil does and works better at breaking up my make up and keeping my skin supple after cleansing with a foam wash. For cleansing my face, I use the full applicator. I would by it again for double cleansing. As a moisturizer, it's a good moisturizer but I want it to do more for my skin than just moisturize (which is what I was hoping for). If you want this to even out your skin tone, skip it. If you're familiar with double cleansing, this is great for that.

Olay Luminous facial oil
This product by Olay is a light oil that is easily applied to the skin. It comes in a 1.3 oz. bottle with dropper. Directions are to apply after moisturizer to seal in moisture to the skin. It has a citrus Orange fragrance which I like, but if you're sensitive to fragrances this product would not work for you. Apply after moisturizer for an incredibly soft, hydrated skin. You only need 1 drop to cover face and neck. Be sure to gently massage into skin. This oil leaves the skin with a non greasy glow. I have sensitive skin and this product does not break me out or cause any irritation. I love how hydrated and soft my skin is using this product. I recommend this product for dry, or possibly sensitive skin types. Your skin will be hydrated with no tight feeling at all. I do not recommend this product for fragrance sensitive people.

Great value, great product!
I have been obsessed with facial oils for a while now...way before it became "trendy" because I have dry skin and am always looking for products that not only combat it but also provide a healthy glow! I recently saw a you tuber using oil mixed with her foundation to provide that glow and had to try it for myself. I came across this product, read the reviews, took note of the active ingrediants and saw the price and immediately purchased it. I have tried expensive facial oils from Algenist, Josie Maran, Bare Minerals and loved or mehed my fair share. I gotta say that this oil is perfect for the person that has just begun to dabble in the very confusing and alarmingly large world of facial oils. Comes in a nice bottle that looks like expensive glass but is not, its plastic and perfect if you are a klutz like me. The scent is nice and light, not at all overwhelming. I have added a few drops to my foundation and could not believe the resulting glow. I use it over my moisturizer as the product suggests and do not find my face getting too greasy, it just leaves a nice healthy sheen. Overall, I am very happy with this product and can't wait to find other ways to use it and would for sure buy it again.
