Women's Plus Size Elegant Scalloped Lace Dress - Knee Length Cocktail Evening Event Dress

Let me say first that the color of this dress is absolutely STUNNING; it's soft and feminine, perfect for a myriad of occasions. Sadly it completely fails in fit. I first purchased a 3X, which was a tiny bit bigger than expected but I prefer something with room to move anyway. Then I turned to find that the arm holes/cutout are ENORMOUS!! I mean, I could literally see the side of my bra, that's how far down the cutout goes - and it's not just down along the side of your body, it's also forward so you're practically seeing part of your bra cup as well.Because the color is so beautiful I thought, ok I'll order a size down. Which, ironically, was way too small size wise - yet STILL had the same huge arm cutouts!! Clearly there's a complete lack of understanding what plus size proportions should go into designing plus size dresses. I'm obviously sending back the 2X and will spend the money to get the 3X altered because the color is just so beautiful.Bottom line: unless you enjoy flashing people your armpits and bra, you might want to seriously ask yourself if this dress is the right choice. I'm honestly curious about who these enormous arm cutouts are supposed to be for - because, clearly, if someone's arms are that big, the dress is nowhere near correspondingly big enough. Overall just a really, really unfortunate and bad fit.

The fabric seems like it would be comfortable to wear because it’s stretchy and not binding. However, the neckline was totally wonky. One side of the V was straight and the other side was sort of rounded, and the V point was not in the middle, but off to the side. No idea what happened but, unfortunately, it’s going back. Fit was boxy, but the sizing seemed true to what was listed for this dress in the sizing chart.

The dress looked great for a wedding reception I attended. The material was soft, not scratchy. I normally wear an XL or size 18 and am 5”3. I ordered slightly bigger after reading reviews and am glad I did. The dress was slightly large but not so much so that it looked bad. Made it incredibly comfy for me. I think if I had ordered a size down it would have been too tight. Length fell right past my knees. The only drawback was that the material does snag if you are wearing any jewelry on your hands or wrists. Other than that was a great dress and I will probably wear again!

To get this out of the way, I'm pretty short, so most dresses that sit at just below knee length fit me at mid calf. It does not fit me in the chest, but it might fit someone else perfectly. If it had fit in the chest, I would have loved to keep it. I recommend it in Antique Green if you are pale with a pink undertone.

I’m tired of black dresses. It is such a relief finding a dark green dress that can be worn for formal occasions. The icing on the cake is the price.

This dress is a nice material and the lace seems sturdy. The cut in the tummy is a bit awkward for me. I am pear shaped and the waistline just seems too high that the pleats in the sewing around the middle make the dress bubble out a bit and it's not flattering on me. I think I ordered too big of a size and need it to fit tighter for it to have more shape on my figure. The quality of the dress is good. be sure to measure and get your right size. overall I would recommend this dress to someone. I bought this for to wear to my son's first holy communion.

It’s a beautiful dress. I need to make sure I don’t wear any jewelry that will snag the lovely lace. I bought it to wear at a wedding.

Beautiful dress, couldn’t believe how well it fit for how cheap it was. I had several compliments on it. Would highly recommend, you can’t get a dress that looks this nice anywhere else for that price.
