No. These are plug adapters. If you plug in a US device rated for 120V into a grid for 230/240V, you will likely destroy the 120V device's power supply.There are power converters, about 200W output (about $25+) small enough to carry around, with US plugs but still need a suitable country/region plug adapters.The good news is that many power supplies (especially electronic devices) are rated for 110V to 240V, and a plug adapter is all that is needed.

Does this work for China? I will traver to China and need a Adapter for my computer.

Yes it works in China. I was in Beijing and Chengdu, and it worked fine in the hotels there. I was using this adapter to plug in my American laptop, cell, hair iron. (No voltage converter needed in my case.)

Will it work for New Zealand from US laptops, cameras, go pro cameras, etc.?

I send these to friends in New Zealand all the time and they are perfect.....they work great in New Zealand power points. There are none better.

I traveled in Southern Italy in May 2017. These "Italy" titled adapters "Ceptics Italy Travel Plug Adapter (Type L)" did not work anywhere!
