Excellent blade for my cordless track saws- DeWalt and Makita
Works well with my Dewalt and my cordless Makita cordless track saws. It will cut just the tiniest sliver more from your splinter guard than the stock DeWalt blade and the same with the Makita stock blade. It doesn’t seem to affect accuracy when going back and forth from the Dewalt or Makita blades on the same track. The difference is so small that it’s not noticeable to me. I notice more inaccuracies from blade deflections and saw body flex when bevel cutting and pushing the saw too hard or else not keeping the track guide tolerance slightly to the tight side of adjustment. As far as the diameter of this blade compared to the 165mm DeWalt and Makita blades I don’t notice a difference in the dewalt saw since the depth gauge accounts for the track and still works accurately with the smaller blade. If I set the DeWalt depth adjustment on the saw for 1/2” (12mm) it will cut through that size fo stock material by about 1-2mm with this blade. With a 165mm blade it actually goes closer to 4mm beyond the material. The Makita saw’s scoring feature might not work with this smaller blade but I never seem to use that anyway, I just keep my blades clean and sharp. These have a large carbide bit for each tooth like an industrial blade and they’re very sharp. The coating helps a lot with resin build up compared to the stock blades that both of my saws came with. In turn the blades run cooler and don’t tend to warp. I hope this review is helpful.

Great Blade. Great Price.
I have bought this blade several times and I keep coming back to it. They last a very long time, and at this price point, you don't even have to get them sharpened. Just recycle them.Clean rips and good crosscuts in hardwood. Works well for cabinet grade plywood too.You could spend $100 or more on a top flight blade from a premium manufacturer, but these mid level Freud blades work great for me. Like my wife always asks me... would your projects look any nicer with a blade costing twice as much? Clearly no. This is a great blade at a reasonable price point.

Great value and quality
This blade is the perfect mix of quality and value for me. I had it on my saw for months. I ripped and crosscut hundreds of board feet of hardwoods before it got dull. No worries as the tooth thickness is good enough for at least 2 more sharpenings. I picked up a second LU86 to use when I send the first one in for sharpening. This is blade you can leave on your saw for 98% of the time if you want. I have a Forrest Woodworker II 30T, which is a super blade but is is 50% better for 50% more cost? Probably not.For most of us, this blade will fit the bill.UPDATE, June 2013.....This blade to me is still the best overall value on the market. I've bought other brand blades over the years but I have 3 of these (LU86) now. The carbide is excellent, cuts are true and the teeth hold an edge for a long time. The carbide is thick enough to re-sharpen, and they resharpen very nicely. To keep one blade on your saw 98% (when I have to do a ton of rip cuts, I will put on a dedicated rip blade) of the time this is the blade to go to. The fact it's under 50 bucks only makes it even more appealing!

Usually works well
One of the first cuts I made with this blade was in softwood and I was quite dissatisfied with the quality of the cut. It seemed to be fuzzed up, not smooth. But since then, I have made many cuts that were high quality with this blade. Nice and smooth. I was disappointed enough I bought a 50 tooth with both ATB and flat topped teeth because I am more familiar with that type. But this one is working well enough I haven't bothered to put the other blade on. I don't know why it occasionally gives a somewhat rough cut, however. I haven't tried it on any deep cuts but it isn't really rated for that so I will not be surprised it I have to go to a ripping blade for deep rips.

and the guilt that comes with using them for less glamorous day to day tasks like ripping up rough plywood vs finer woodworking
I have a number of Forrest blades, and the guilt that comes with using them for less glamorous day to day tasks like ripping up rough plywood vs finer woodworking projects. As well, I have a sawstop PCS that I love... except when the brake has gone off and trashed the blade in play (many tears were shed, and curse words uttered when my Forrest dado king hit a tiny screw and triggered the sawstop). So I did a LOT of online research... seeking an everyday blade that wasn't too expensive. I looked at Freud and Infiniti, went with Freud to save a couple bucks, and like my Diablo circular and chop saw blades, the LU series has been awesome. The thin kerf makes quick work of plywood and rougher lumber, and I really can't think of a single complaint. My buddy tried it on his fairly cheap and banged up contractor saw and was amazed. For the price you can't go wrong. Smooth cuts, good feed rate. Will do a separate review for the 80t plywood full kerf blade, which has been thrilling on a room full of 3/4 birch built ins.Thumbs up!

My go to tablesaw blade
I have two of these, one on the saw and a second one to install while the first is out for sharpening. These blades perform very well. Rip smooth enough to edge join and cross cut very good too. A most useful combination blade for wood and it cuts a lot of wood and sheet goods before needing sharpening. Not an inexpensive blade but I think a worthwhile buy.

Thin kerf ease and precision
My Freud combination .saw blade has served me well, without being sharpened, for over 10 years. It was time to replace it with a similar blade so I tried this thin-kerf blade. It works great! I had forgotten that my old blade required that I apply greater feed pressure to rip boards. But with the new thin-kerf blade, it almost self-feeds since it effortlessly rips boards. It also helps that it cuts away less wood so it should provide easier cuts. And the finish is smooth for both crosscut and ripped cuts. I recommend it for general woodworking. Lets see if it lasts 10 years like my previous blade.
