GoyaGolden Canilla Long Grain Parboiled Rice, 10 Pound

It's rice, it's cheaper to get a giant bag of it here than lots smaller bags at the store, it brings me infinite joy, what more can you say. This is the same type of rice as Uncle Ben's but a few dollars cheaper. Parboiled is my all time favorite as it's a little more nutritious than white rice, never sticky (you get nicely defined grains that cook up perfectly every time), and a bit more chewy/firm/I don't know, not mushy/more textured?. I also find that it's harder to mess up cooking parboiled than it is with other types of rice, so if you're a stove-top rice cooking novice who keeps ending up with burnt rice at the bottom of the pan or always overcook your rice into a paste give this stuff a try. Also 10 lbs is a lot of rice, so consider yourself warned. If you're like me and eat rice at least once a day it'll last you a few months, however, if you're a normal American who usually only eats rice when they get Chinese take-out this bag will be passed down for generations to come.

I use this rice to cook with and it's hard to find anywhere else so happy I was able to get it on Amazon.

Excellent product. Individual grains cook a little al dente if following cooking instruction. Added chicken broth and cooked up beautifully. Highly recommend.

My wife is from Nigeria where parboiled rice is a staple. This is as good as any previously tasted, and easy to cook.

Weevils. Rice weevils everywhere. DO NOT BUY. This is the ONLY rice product I have had this issue with.
