Great book it helped me too much in university, good job!

This book help me a little with the vast reviews it has. It has oppened mi view for my investigation on piezoelectric harvesting.

This is a great book for people that already know the subject pretty well, and its got a ton of references. But it is absolutely not the book for someone with a solid engineering background, that's looking for a source to self-learn this topic area from. They waste no space in these pages on covering most of the basic info you need to formulate governing equations. Instead they put it all off in the references.It's probably a great way to learn if you don't mind stopping 3 or 4 times in every paragraph, going and digging out one or more journal papers they reference, and then coming back to the text. But I'm not sure most people would be that excited about this approach to learning.If there's a good one-stop source that covers all the necessary basics on this subject, I haven't found it yet. Maybe, after I've learned enough to be almost-expert on this subject, I'll find this book incredibly useful.
