Great price, great construction, bad QR code (but there's a fix)
IN DEPTH:-Very sturdy construction and simple design. Comes as a well folded box, unfolds in to a Cardboard viewer.-I can verify it works with Galaxy S5, but you'll have to remove phone from case. I wish they made these things with the case in mind. My "EightOnes" XL is large enough to fit my phone with the case so I'll stick to using that, since I bought these for gifts anyway.Otherwise, it fits the phone fine, just don't close your phone up TOO tight, or your screen will be pushed up against the contact for the capacitive touch. I think I prefer the magnet method of Cardboard 1.0, but I don't think the magnet method works on Iphone, which is partly why I ordered Cardboard 2.0 for gifting.-The picture shoes an NFC chip embedded, but there was none, at least not one recognized by my S5.-The QR code on the box and the view are both wrong. When read by Google Cardboard for setting up the viewer, it says itdetected, "NAME-I-FORGOT-HERE Viewer." I'm unfamiliar with the name, and it doesn't match any of the names on the box. Attempting to view a 360 video on youtube while it's setup with the code on the box cause glitch lines to flow around the screen as you look back and forth. Also the view space between L & R eyes is setup wrong when using that code. I scanned the code on my Cardboard 1.0, then used them, and it worked just fine. Setting up your viewer is a one time thing, so you could just google "cardboard v1 code" and click "images" and scan it in google cardboard til it says "Google Cardboard 1.0" detected. Then you can use these as normal.SUMMARY:These really are a great buy for the price. They are sturdy, fold back up into a box easily so you can take them anywhere. They work just fine.I only took a star off because of the bad QR code on the box needed to set them up. If you use that code, they will not work properly so be sure you scan a Cardboard v1 (or even a 2) code during setup and you'll really enjoy the VR experience these things provide!Included a Cardboard v1 code in pictures.

Motorola Google Nexus 6 double vision for majority of family members.
I bought this for a Google/Motorola Nexus 6 and it kind of fits. The biggest issue will be that when you close the flap, it will press on the power and volume buttons hence restarting your phone. I solved this by cutting a rectangle on top where the buttons would be and the phone fits without restarting the phone. I had a hard time with this Cardboard because I was seeing double vision. I tried modifying it but just cannot bring it to a single vision. Out of 4 people who tried this using the stock Google Cardboard app, 3 saw double vision. Only one person was able to see a single image. Using some downloaded VR videos from the internet, if the video was optimized for a smartphone, after some concentrating, I would see a single image. However this was with lots of straining of the eyes. I have since switched to the classic looking VR hard plastic red viewer and have no issue with double vision. I will be giving this to the 1 person above that saw the single image. One note is that the button contraption worked really well.Update 12/03/2015: things seem to work well if you do not go through the process of scanning the QR code to set the default head unit. Leave it Google Cardboard V1 and there is no double vision. So upgrading to four stars. Still takimg away one star that I had to cut a slot to prevent pressing the power button on the Nexus 6.

Great bit of fun!
I purchased this as a replacement for the v1 Google cardboard because my Note 5 was too big for it. With the Google Cardboard 2.0, my phone fits perfectly and doesn't slide around. If you're a little terrified of leaving your phone at the mercy of cardboard, don't fret! A rubber band is attached to ensure that it stays in place. A rubber band, who knew?I downloaded a few apps and sat on a spinning chair, so I wouldn't look silly twirling around with my phone to my face. The visual quality was great and I didn't experience any nausea or double screens while viewing. I was nervous that the cardboard would be flimsy, but it is actually pretty sturdy and came pre-assembled. The only problem I had was using the button on top of the goggles. It was hard to push and sometimes didn't register. I wish that a head strap was available for hands-free use, but other than that, it's a good little product. So, good in fact, that I'll be purchasing a few more for my nieces. This was a big hit during Christmas.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my review.

An Inspired Five Star Review
Read closely and do not think this is a GOOGLE product, only a google inspired product. Their play on words inspired me to write an inspired 5 star review, but since mine is only inspired and not an actual 5 star review, they get a generous 3 stars.I bought this for my iPhone 6s Plus, expecting it to fit per the description. If by "fit" they mean both ends of my phone extend a bit outside each side, then yes, this is made for the iPhone 6 plus. Must be the meant they were inspired to fit larger phones.I see double images in every app but one so I really do not believe this is the right VR viewer for larger phones.

Needs a P.D. adjustment
Very much needs a pupillary distance adjustment (as do all of the Google Cardboards actually made of cardboard.) If you try it out and can't fuse the two dots, or if you experience eye fatigue after a short time, it is likely that the "average" 63 mm p.d. built into this is not right for you. Since I know that my p.d. is much larger than average (one way to tell is that if I use a pair of binoculars right after someone else, I invariably have to widen them), I cut out a rectangle containing the lenses, trimmed it up so that each lens is about 4 mm further from the center line than before, then put it back together with masking tape. Now I love it!
